I picked up a couple of bags today to make some tea, how often should I use it? General suggestion seems to be about once per week. I also bought some molasses for carbs. Is that only applied in flower?
The chart you posted is for grows in soil. Soil acts as a buffer for ph. I am growing in peat moss, which is treated like hydro for ph purposes. 5.5 - 6.5
Looks pretty close to mine. Perhaps we are in the same boat. Also, what material do you use for your screen? I'm not looking forward to rethreading mine.
I feed the recommended amount of calmag every watering. I feed every watering. About every 3 days or so. I grow in peat moss, its not exactly dirt, so I make sure to calmag every time. I could definitely kick up the flower nutes, I haven't seen any burn thus far.
edit: Just thought of...
I'm getting too much yellowing after I flip into flower. I'm about one month into flower, and though I usually deal with a small amount of yellowing into flower, this is just too much. I fed a transitional half veg half flower food until week 3 of flower. Then switched to just flower food. But...
I'm an amateur with a small grow and i've been using a fairly basic feeding schedule thus far. I grow in peat and feed GH maxi series with some GH rapid start and cal mag added. I haven't tried too many different lines, and wondered what were reputable densers. I've yet to use one yet and...
How do you do it? I always just change my timer right from 18-6 to 12-12 and change my mh to an hps bulb. But I have a little more stretching that I would like. How can i prevent that? Should I keep the mh light in for a week or two?
I'm going to be making a 4x4 scrog. I've heard it's beneficial to be able to raise and lower the net as necessary. So would it be wiser to hang the screen from the ceiling. Most pictures I see usually have legs.
Well I have a couple issues with air cooling my lights. firstly and most importantly, I have no good source to draw in cool air to push over the hood. Secondly even if I had that option, I probably wouldn't even if I could. measurements show that glass stops about 10-15% of light right off the...
I may get a better exhaust fan in the future. Mine does it's job well enough for now. An a.c. unit would cost just as much, if not more electricity than the light itself. Not worth it for my application
I'm checking online at these types of products, but most of them don't have good reviews. And I need this item to be reliable. Have you used this product? would you suggest a particular one? or did you just google a picture for what is a good idea?
My issue with my dehum was that it made my room insanely warm. Just as hot in lights off with the dehumidifier running as it was when the lights were on. I'm going to run a whole house dehumidifier from the basement to keep out the heat. Electricity shouldnt be too big of an issue for a whole...
I'd like to run a dual spectrum but add as little heat as possible. How can I accomplish that? Florescents? I run an open hood 600 watt mh/hps for the respective cycles. But I would like to be able to run some blue during my flowering cycle. But i've reached my limit when it comes to heat. I...
I'll probably just start checking gas stations nearby.
Getting up to temp by body heat takes hours.
Can you elaborate a bit? what has worked well enough for you?
