I feel like the more they breed autos for potency, the leaner the ruderalis genetics get. Most will still flower under longer light cycles, but they seem to takr longer to finsish and sometimes take more convincing to flower than the autos of even a year or two ago.
They aren't going to keep up with current gen cobs and QBs, but CLW builds the best damn blurples on the market. I ran an old solar storm 440 and that light used to crush my 3x3.
Definitely not ready. There is a lot of swell left. NL is an Indica and tend to have fat dense buds. You will look back on this in a few weeks and wonder how you could possibly have thought those buds were done. Looks solid for a first grow. Enjoy.
Cloning autos is pretty much pointless. They cant be induced to revert to vegatative growth. Any clone you took would be flowering immediately. You'd be extremely lucky if you got a joint worth of pot for your efforts.
You can abuse the shit out of plants whe they are in vegetative growth.
As long as the roots are healthy and there are a few leaves left for photosynthesis it will recover given time. Once flowering starts (or if your plant is an autoflower) you have less room for error.
I've had the same thought. I actually did the math on what it would cost to build a 3x3x5 space entirley out of 132s... lol. My pockets ain't deep enough at the moment.
Sometimes heat stress can keep the flowers from swelling and gaining density. Could also be a genetic trait. More information about what your temperature and humidity is like in the tent would help.
I dont even worry about the catagories dispensaries use. Most of the time its all based on aesthetics alone. A super pretty purple strain that is kind of meh in terms of high will be put out as top shelf over a average looking strain that blows your head off. Also, ive never had pot from a...
PPFD is photosynthetic photon flux density. PPFD measures the amount of PAR that actually arrives at the plant, or as a scientist might say: “the number of photosynthetically active photons that fall on a given surface each second”
This is a measurable metric. An HLG 550 will give you numbers...
