can I ask why distilled? Wouldn't RO be better? Also, wouldn't the ph of any water affect the ph of the medium?

My medium is soilless. It's not coco exactly, It's mostly canadian peatmoss with some coco mixed in. But soilless non the less. Coco would be something like promix right?
