Im sure i could just try it out of the bag as is and probably end up ok. But i've read online about a lot of people saying they needed to add some lime. it comes with some out of the bag, but according to other folks it wasn't enough. I've had a lot of ph issues around week 4-5 of flower. The...
well i know im going to be putting in some perlite and a bit more lime just in case. But im still mulling over whether or not i want to add some EWC just for a bit of a nitrogen boost to start off with.
well luckily i have a great big bag of that stuff sitting in my room that I have yet to use. But when i said additives I meant more like, things of a nutritional value. like EWC and the like.
Im switching my medium to sunshine advanced #4, is there anything I should amend the medium with? I read a little bit about people adding dolomite but I'm pretty sure it already has some in it. Thoughts?
I dont mean to sound ungrateful, but none of that makes any sense to me for the following reasons: boiling does nothing to water except to sterilize bacteria. Which is already sterilized from chlorine/chloramine chemicals. Boiling water down will (if boiled enough) only give you a larger amount...
the reason it would kill the healthy bacteria is because that is what it was made to do. Chlorine and chloramine were placed in the water to kill bacteria that would otherwise make us sick. The problem being that these chemicals do not differentiate good bacteria from bad.
I was at the hydroshop today and the guy behind the counter practically flipped his lid when i told him I use water straight from the tap. he said it's killing all the beneficial microbes and goodies in the medium. He said that i need to be aerating the water for 24-48 hours.
How important is...
I want to get 2 - five gallon buckets of water to start aerating. (I was using just straight tap water put into a gallon bottle) but the guy from my hydroshop said that its imperative to aerate water to get rid of as much chlorine as possible to stop from killing beneficials in the medium. I...
I wouldnt be driving while high. Just when i get home from work. I thought about keeping a whiz kit around, but i drive multiple cars for work. It just wouldnt be feasible.
thats a nice success story. I wish i could have one like it. I think im just getting ready to admit defeat and give up smoking. I'll miss it a lot but theres a lot of driving in my career, and sooner or later im sure i'll have a fender bender and I dont want it to cost me everything just because...
not only would I not want to look goofy till the end of time, my work places takes appearance quite seriously, i wouldnt be able to keep one on me even if i wanted to. I like the brain storming though.
