Id keep them in the jars under the bed or somewhere dark. If you dry them completely before sealing them for good in the jars then they shouldnt get mold.

Water cure ive heard will make them have no smell and no taste, i wouldnt do it.

did you trim them already? if you put it in bags now you probably wont be able to leave it sealed for too long.

hang until the outside of the nugs feel kinda crispy but not until the stem snaps in half. really depends on your temp and humidity so we cant give you a very good answer for how long.
