I recently bought a camera from best buy. It is a canon sx500 and has 30x zoom.. I was wondering if anyone has taken pictures of trichs with cameras like this or if its possible. Anyone got some good settings? Thanks...

Additionally, I have two plants in my setup and only one is suffering from this issue. This plant is close to the humidifier and it is the only variable I can pick out between the two that is different. All the bottom set of leaves have a brown/rust/dead look to them. All the top vegetation...

What do you think this is? Any idea? If you need more info about my setup let me know, Im running a DWC and have a 400 Watt MH about 14 inches away. There is a humidifier in the room, Ive read it might be caused by mist? Ideas?

How old do you think these plants are? Fun guessing game. They have both have about 6 nodes with a 7th growing in, each are about 5-6 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Stems are about the size of 4 toothpicks, 2 sets of 7 leafs. Been growing under a 400 watt MH. Not my plants, someone i know.

Im using distilled water, ppms are about 10 with no nutes, used cal-mag and dynagro all purpose for nutes. As for the co2 i took it out being that o can no longer use it with exhaust fan all the time. Thx again for all the help, looks as if the leaf that shrunk is gonna die, rest the plant...

So my plants have kidney failure? Lol, i gotcha, temps are stable at 75, ph is at 5.7 and ppms are at 300, well see how they recover.

i appreciate all the help guys, any idea as to why the shrinkage occured. I cant believe these variables everyone is telling me to adjust suddenly ( 3 hours tops) made the leaf shrink. It looks like It's still healthy just maybe retracted due to shock or something. Think it will grow back out?

look great man, my 10 days were about the exact same size. Would post pics but im not trying to hijack your thread. As said above, with cfl's you can drop the lights to around 4" away from tops. Watch out for some heavy growth over night, read one to many threads about peoples plants growing...
