I already ordered the seeds, I'm just seeing most seed banks listing the parents as Purple Erkle x Tahoe OG, and one in particular lists it as granddaddy purple x pineapple goat. All the same strain...

I always recommend single strain grows for people who are not very experienced with tent growing. So many more issues arise with multi strain grows. Basic stuff like height tendencies and climate preferences and flowering times, to more complex issues like nutrient requirements. You can do...

You definitely need to keep the reservoir cool. Water temps over 70f are a no no in DWC as above that you are at risk for all manner of beasties to begin growing in the res. It's important to decide if you are going to try for a sterile reservoir or if you would prefer to use beneficial...

SOG is faster with a high plant count. SCROG requires a much longer veg but keeps your plant count down. Both can yeild impressively if done correctly.

All of the above. Humidity control, odor control, but most importantly to keep fresh air cycling through the space as @charface mentioned. Plants need fresh air just like people. Don't give a human fresh air and eventually they will use up all the oxygen and die. Plants will do the same with Co2.
