I'm not sure what you mean. I was asking about confirmation on the parent strains of their Orkle. I already ordered the seeds, I'm just seeing most seed banks listing the parents as Purple Erkle x Tahoe OG, and one in particular lists it as granddaddy purple x pineapple goat. All the same strain...
I've got some Orkle on the way and I'm seeing conflicting information on the lineage. Was wondering if anyone can give me a definitive lineage on this? Thanks y'all.
I always recommend single strain grows for people who are not very experienced with tent growing. So many more issues arise with multi strain grows. Basic stuff like height tendencies and climate preferences and flowering times, to more complex issues like nutrient requirements. You can do...
Just got confirmation on my order today and I have to say my experience with OES has been great so far. He is buried in orders right now but he took time to answer my questions and keep me informed. With the amazing selection and good customer service I will definitely be ordering again.
I just received confirmation on my seed order, so looks like germination may be starting as early as next week. Pretty stoked. Just need to finish getting everything nice and comfy for the Orkle.
The cab will be finished on Thursday so I'll have some pics up by Friday at the latest. Thanks for the interest. I hope I'll have good things to post as this project progresses.
I'll try to dig up some links, but the basic idea is to keep any harmful bacterial or fungal growth out of your reservoir. The sterile approach involves using temperature control and a sterilizing agent (if needed) to keep your res completely free of organisms. The beneficial approach...
You definitely need to keep the reservoir cool. Water temps over 70f are a no no in DWC as above that you are at risk for all manner of beasties to begin growing in the res. It's important to decide if you are going to try for a sterile reservoir or if you would prefer to use beneficial...
SOG is faster with a high plant count. SCROG requires a much longer veg but keeps your plant count down. Both can yeild impressively if done correctly.
All of the above. Humidity control, odor control, but most importantly to keep fresh air cycling through the space as @charface mentioned. Plants need fresh air just like people. Don't give a human fresh air and eventually they will use up all the oxygen and die. Plants will do the same with Co2.
Thanks very much for the kind words! This grow is a lot of firsts for me, so I hope we all can learn some things together and be entertained in the process.
Now, time to smoke a bowl and get my day started. bongsmilie:peace:
Alright folks.. quick update.
Spent about 7 hours on my custom grow box today. The bass cabinet o' dank is coming along better than I could have hoped, but due to lack of a few necessary parts it is still an hour or two worth of work from being done. Pics will be posted when I'm finished...
