To grow kind dawg u have to know the ph its very important you cant just give them whatever you want bottled water will be somewhere around a 5.0 I belive.

Theganman yo go to stater brothers and buy some baking soda to bring up the ph about 1 tsp per gallon or so will bring up the ph quite a bit and if you have to come down use regular vinegar about 1 cap to 1 gallon, good luck
