I've looked for a few hours on which one of my cfl's is for veg and which is for flowering i have a 40w and 42w here are the details of them 40w 3000k is that lumens? or the spectrum? Helical 42w doesn't say any lumens but the last letters say sw is that soft white? should i take one...

on the box you got the bulb. should say if not look it up online (google)

more the better. cfl is awesome the more the better. the more lumens but of course you can over do it with like 20 or 30 cfl's (imagine the heat that'll put out) hope this kinda helped

YES it is bad . it can cause stress and weaken your potentcy it's the chlorine and chloramines and any other particles and whatever else is in the water I would put it in a jug leave it over night and that'll remove all the harmful things in the water. then before putting it in check pH and if...

yeah that's what 2much said but laserbrn made a great point put the air pump in the water with nutrients and it will help pump some oxygen in the mixture to help the roots
