CFL's need to be much closer to grow with. No more than 1-3" above the plants. It will be a daily battle keeping plants from growing into CFL's and burning leaves. It can be done of you are dilligent. You are going to need allot more 2700k tenperature CFL's to flower. I suggest adding a couple...
I pull a whispy lower flower or two, only after all trichs are mostly cloudy. I only pull a couple, and hang upside down until crispy. Then I smoke them just to test potency, or if Im out of smoke and need a hit!
Instead I have learned to not pick lower buds. I harvest all the tops first. I
hang...
Yes patience, learn to resist harvest until the plant fully matures. learn to look for the calyxes to swell and pistils to receed into the flowers. Be sure to get a nice flush the last couple weeks while you are watching.
I have a Deep Purple and Magenta H350. I also have the H150 in each color. I notice that the temp rises a couple degrees when you add a H150. Do you think the H350 is that much cooler? The H350 seemed to add a little more heat than the H150 to me.
My temps run at 77 and 45 percent humidity with the lights on. When lights power off for 12 hours, the temps drop a few degrees to 74 or 75, Humidity fluxuates between 45-50.
I have a 2X2.5 tent and use a 4" (170cfm) fan with a matching carbon cannoster. You'll need the proper fan and cannister to continually scrub the air clean and then vent it out. The 4" 170 cfm fan keeps my tent at a perfect 77 degrees and 45 percent humidity, with lights on. Lower during lights off.
You save $50 per light if you buy 4 magenta h150's to flower. All Red or Blue, are overpriced. $100 new is the going rate for the purple or magenta h150's! There are many advantages to led spot lights over panels
I grow my cannibus in ffof and use iguana juice grow and bloom for nutrients. I get decent results. I wonder what other orgaic nutrients out there are good and hopefully cheaper? It has to be good for use in soil.
Thanks for the suggestions! I am going to get the twenty dollar fan speed controller first, as it is the cheapest option! My lights are all Kessil Led by the way, they are cooled by an internal fan, so no need to cool them. My fan is a 4" 170cfm.
I have a 2x2.5 grow tent. My scrubber is a 4" fan/filter combo from Htg. It runs at 100 percent and is quite audible. What can I do to drastically reduce sound? I was thinking of slowing it down via fan speed controller? Would that lower volume, or should I invest in a $50 muffler?
I do not have a hood to vent. My lights are Kessil led. They have their own cooling built in. So I am focused on anything I can do to expel existing hot air.
I have a 2X2.5 gorilla tent. Temps are 78 degrees with 46% humidity, lights on. I have a 4" carbon scubber running at 100 percet speed. Is there anythig else I can do for lower temps outside of adding an air conditioner?
I am trying to get better air circulation in a 2X2.5 grow tent. I have a box fan blowing air into the tents mesh rear intake. Have not set up an inline fan, carbon filter or ducting. I have another fan inside for circulation, and a top vent hole open for exhaust. Temp is 80-82 with lights on...
