okay well another update, it has ben 4 days since my post-- and my sprout is doing great! I got a soil Ph tester kit from Cad. Tire and tested the soil she's in now, as well as the soil that I transplanted her out of. The soil she's in now, has a ph of 7-7.5, which my sprout loves apparently...

Well it sounds like it would be pretty wet --- if you do mix it with something, make sure that the drainage is good and that there isn't any stagnant water that could cause root rot. Though, this is just my take on things, I'm an indoor grower, so I don't truly know what kindof outdoor soils...

A agree-- those things will devour your plant. Get some lady bugs, or find some safe remedies online to get rid of them. Try to stay away from harsh chemicals tho. Good luck man-- kill those little SOBs!

as he said, without pics, you're not going to get any definitive answer. However, make sure you let the soil dry out inbetween waterings. Good luck!

lol well good luck trying to protect your plant from insects, outside, with those traps lol never work dude... But yeah from what I've heard, neem oil works well. As for the outdoor endeavor next season, look into insects that eat harmful bugs, like lady bugs. Try natural solutions before trying...
