I wouldnt mist because it could clog the pores and then it would not breathe in co2 which would result into plant dying. if you do, only mist the under side of the leaves, not the top

lol i saw a forum like this a month ago or something, and so i thought it was a good idea, and so couple times i pee in my water lol. and one time a friend peed in the water and we let it sit 2 days before we watered, and the water smelt SOOOO BAD!!

seeds will usually float for first 24 hours or so, then they will soak up water and fall down. so soak in water for 24 hours. place in paper towel on something warm
