I am on there as well as abellguy I just don't have any pics up on that site. I agree it is better, I feel safer on this one for some reason, like people would think I am like all the other people on here and can't really do much. That HB tasted a King Kush very nice for sure. I will keep you...

Does anyone have any experience with 1/2 hp water chillers?

I have an Eco Plus and a Cold Shot both put out a considerable amount of heat IMO. I am using both of them to cool Liquid Lumens lights the Eco runs about 70% during the light cycle and then for a time to get down to the set temp and then it dosen't run much. The cold shot runs 30% durning light...

what is the maximum number of 1000 watt lights that can be vented in a series?

Venting of air cooled hoods can be accomplished in many ways that will produce the results you are looking for. Some important things to keep in mind are that you will want to have as cool of air as possible at your intake location weather that be inside the room with a carbon a scrubber at...

    Looking to save elctricity

Everyone is very egar to show me the value of ohms law, and I appreciate that but I already know how to get those numbers. As far as ballasts being 240 for use in Europe that is something I wasn't aware of and thank you very much for that information. Not quite sure why they would offer them...

    Looking to save elctricity

Thank you for the lesson on ohms law, not that I haven't seen those figures before thier in every grow catolog, your right I do not understand why it is that it saves me money. I also agree with you that you should not share information about topics unless you have direct experience with the...

Electrical help needed for running 24O to room

If you open your ballasts they should be able to be rewired for 240 if they have multiple taps on the windings. If you go with the panel it will prob work just remember you will only have 25 amps left over for your house, but I guess you could just run the lights at night and keep a very close...

    Looking to save elctricity

I am not an electrician so I can't give you the exact reason why it saves money, but here is why I use them. I was working with some industrial electricians a few years back, I always saw the 240 lights and thought what the hell are those for but I learned real quickly in my 18 years of growing...

    Looking to save elctricity

Never knew there was a electric panel rated in watts, mine is rated in amps as most are. The electric company charges by the kilowatt hour if you want to use less of them, hook your lights up to 240. Especially if you have more than one. Hope this helps bongsmilie

This is how we do it on the other side (Was the $26,500 Thread)

Ben might have a different idea on how the ice box system works. The condensation in the LL system comes from the temp on the chiller being set to low. If you try moving up 1 or 2 degrees untill there is no condesation, usually about 10 degrees below ambiant room teomp, this is a good place to...

Electrical help needed for running 24O to room

I didn't see any attachments or pictures but if I understand you correctly you have 4 dual plug outlets that are 20amps at 120v each. Are you going to be running your lights 240 or 120? This will work fine for you if you are going to have the lights be 120. Now you do understand that the box...

    Looking to save elctricity

This right here kind of sums it up. If you were to have a stove on 120 it would work it just wouldn't be as efficiant as a 240. The wires would be very hot at 120 so they go with 240. This only applies as you stay within the proper percentage of the total amount of your available power. As you...

    Looking to save elctricity

If all things are equal between 120 and 240 then why is your oven a 240 volt appliance or your dryer? There is a reason they make 240 lights. I have run systems both ways and there is def a power savings that you can see in your pocket book. Hope this helps bongsmilie

Awsome dude now you got things going. I am glad to hear that your chillers are under control now. When you get your air exchange down with SOG I am sure your setup is going to rock. Good luck, and happy growing bongsmilie

Electrical help needed for running 24O to room

The PGE guy is probly talking about the service you could recieve at your house, in other words if you wanted to turn your house into a industrial factory you couldn't get that much electricity there. If you don't get permits and stuff you can add as many sub-panels to your system that you...

Electrical help needed for running 24O to room

The power company doesn't know what your electric service is. They just supply power to your riser stack and an experienced electrician takes it from there. The only reason the power company is involved is to disconnect your main power if you are going to have your electric panel upgraded...

    BUGS!!! ants, gnats, flying ants!!!

No probs, I had gnats pretty bad once that came in and got way out of control before I realized what was really going on, and treating the really bad plants didn't do any good it killed some of the larve but not all and they just kept comming back. That is the only reason I suggest getting rid...
