Could i have the wrong metal halide bulb its a 400watt bulb from home depot its the football shaped one?

Bonzi Lighthouse That is pretty much what my plants look light there not as bad but close i am also useing MG soil

the pot is a 1 gallon pot and the humidty is around 45-50 im doin 20/4 for light

the temp doesnt get over 77 were the plants are

They have been under the halide for about 2 weeks and the plants are only like 2inches tall first 3 leaves have shown and basically stopped

Ok well i started them on CFL for a week and a half then i got a 400 watt halide and switched out and the light has been about 24 inches above them and they turned a light yellow and almost stoped growing any ideas what could be going on?

Is it ok to put young seedlings under a 400w halide?

Ok ill try to change the lighting to 18/6 . also my dirt on the top is always dry so i think it needs water but i will cut back on watering thanks for all the help

I have not done anythng but water the plants no nitrogen or nutes. should i try to put the light to 18/6??

The temps get to around 82 during the day and bout 74 at night I water every other day

My plants are at 2 weeks now ive got a 400watt halide about 20 inches above the plants 6 total im a 24/0 lighting. For ventilation ive got a 80cfm fan pulling air from outside and a 220cfm fan exhausting the closet. Im just wondering why my plants are so small they are about 2 inches tall...

Yeah my temp gets right around 85 to 88 in the daytime. How high would you suggest i go up with the light?

So being that low wont effect anything? sometimes it gets down to 20%
