DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Your power supply is going in protection mode(overload), that's why is flashing(hiccup). Next to the green LED there is a potentiometer to adjust the output Voltage. Turn it anticlockwise to reduce the Voltage.

Dim ends do have polarity, the Potentiometer doesn't and the more resistance or voltage applied the more current you get.

QB120 specs V-I derating curve with that specs will look like this To put the ELG to work in CV mode, the current drawn by the load should be lesser than the max. rating current at 48V or the load @3.75A must need a voltage higher than 48V, two boards in serie @1.875A=44.48V 4 boards in...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Your driver can't be dimmed, the datasheet provide you specs and ratings for all types. Your driver can work on CV or CC mode depending on the load, with those QBs and a 2S2P array the driver will work in CC mode and looking to the specs you are going to get around 167w. Also, if you connect...

    Cree x lamp Xp e2

Only with constant voltage supplies with fixed voltage, there are CV supplies with adjustable Voltage like LRS series wich you can adjust the voltage to the desired level. You can also use boost-buck converters or resistors to limit the voltage or current.

    Cree x lamp Xp e2

No way, you can even connect them to a 10 amps power supply and the 8 LEDs just will get 575mA. As you noticed current increase as voltage increase, so to pass 1A through the LEDs you need to increase the voltage up to 3.15V(x8=25.2V). Normally you don't work LEDs to its maximum current so...

    Cree x lamp Xp e2

If you connect 8 in series to a 24v constant voltage supply you will get around 575mA per string. To get 1000mA you need to supply around 25.2V per string.

HVAC requirements for sealing room using Quantum boards?

That is correct if you only have the boards inside the room, if you also have the drivers you will need to add the efficiency and power factor. 3.412 x (13920w /driver efficiency/power factor)

There is no way in series, the driver is just 22Vo max, not even two will work with that driver.

    Strip and driver question

Sure you can connect them together, the L0560s just are two L0280s wired in parallel. Is like you were connecting 5 L280s. You will get around 35W.
