Ok I will start watering till I get 10% run off. But I am reading that watering every 2 days is normal with smartpots because the water evaporates just as quick as it is absorbed by the roots.

7 gallons I give 1 gallon Probably 3 times a week I water just before run off No I haven't not sure how to ph soil. Do I have to buy a gadget for that? No just molasses recently to see if it would make the situation better. Composted for 75 days in a food grade bucket with a lid. Stirred...

I water 1 gallon recently. Is that too much or too little for a 7 gallon smart pot? I don't really get run off.

Thank you for the response. I am at the moment watering every 2 days. This is my first time with smart pots and I have noticed it dries up a lot faster. I added a little bit of molasses yesterday to see if it would fix the issue. Do you think that will make it worse?
