First grow ever 22 LEDs drip feed build and journal

You're close. In terms of weight and maturity, you're waiting for the calyxes to swell over the pistils. The plant won't gain much if any weight after that. That's where the last grams on the scale come from. That's it's finished weight. Looking at that last picture, I'd say another ten days...

HortiBloom 650W Mega Plus ? Any review ?

@HortiBloom What are the exact measurements (to the millimetre) from the corner to corner? Thanks

First grow ever 22 LEDs drip feed build and journal

Product won't be flagged for residual solvents because the lower foliage of plants were sprayed with Iso during the vegetative stage. A mite infestation doesn't start out with webbing at the top of plants, first they colonise on the underside of the lower leaves and they're usually there from...

The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Then it makes getting advice harder, because ppm isn't a universal measurement. Find out if you're using the 500 or 700 conversion scale and then find out what your ec is. If it's 2.4, then you're most likely frying your buds, which is why I asked what you NPK ratio is, because they look full...

First grow ever 22 LEDs drip feed build and journal

Just to add, we've got to take the necessary precautions when working with iso, co2, ethanol, water and electricity, pesticides or any of the other potentially dangerous stuff we deal with. I expect a grower of this fella's knowledge to know how to mitigate the dangers of working in a grow room...

First grow ever 22 LEDs drip feed build and journal

At 50-60% and extraction on and used in a sensible way it's not dangerous. We're not spraying 99% iso. Bear in mind the concentration. It's diluted down to a strength which won't harm plants when sprayed directly on foliage and the majority of the spraying is done beneath the canopy.

You using alcohol mate? It kills spider mites and dries out their eggs If you're thorough and regular with a 60% solution + some surfactant, you'll completely eliminate them. You can also control them through flower without worrying about residuals. You do need them under control by the peak...

That's more likely your problem. What conversion are you using? What's the EC?

Led Temps - Air vs Leaf Surface

Don't worry about it. You'll get even temps across your floor. You won't lose much in the way of height either. Maybe an inch total. And no need for breakers unless you're heating commercial sized floors. You can go two ways about it Google `decoupling membrane` and` xps sheets` all you need...

Led Temps - Air vs Leaf Surface

None of this debate accounts for root temps. The measurements should go hand in hand IMO and I think we're missing a big piece of the debate whenever we look at the two things separately. It's possible you change parameters at canopy level when you change them at root level. That hasn't yet...

    Led lights rubbish !!

That's what it is. If the heat is married with humidity, you'll get explosive growth. The three things work in tandem, heat, humidity, and light intensity. Keep that in mind and you'll be able to solve your problems a bit easier.

    Led lights rubbish !!

Need to post pictures dude. But in the meantime try this: Turn your extraction right down. Just enough to keep your air running through the filter and the smells from leaking, but low enough that it gets really warm and humid. Post back what happens

Do you prefer quantum boards or strips?

Thanks for helping me get there dude. I appreciate your help on the build man, big time. Same for everyone else who chipped in.

Do you prefer quantum boards or strips?

I planned to chop these down and go from cut to get a better structure on them. But it was my first go with LED so I flipped them instead to see what they could do with plants which would have been too tall for HID. The top buds were right by the bars and would have been fried under a HPS in a...

Do you prefer quantum boards or strips?

Have you ever grown with strips? I had solid buds 2 feet down from a bridgelux strip build and it was only 320w You can also run strips hard or more of them and soft, and you'll see the difference on the meter at about 2ft down.

LED Watts /sq ft - feedback on the lumen overload

There's always a sweet spot and it's environment dependent. Your plants will show you what it is, so pay attention to them. In veg, for example, if you notice the leaves doing anything other than praying upward and lush growth with that fountain effect from the top, then you're not in the sweet...

The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Thats still a nice yield. RH being too high won't cause your plants to not produce trichomes. And I doubt changing the lights will make any difference. You got any pictures?
