    First time Hydroponic grow.

I would also consider spray painting that tub black, you don't want light getting to the roots.

    First time Hydroponic grow.

Those lights are way too far away they should be about an inch from the top of the plant.

    First Hydro Cfl Grow

Some new pics. This plant is growing really quick. Might not wait to much longer before I go 12/12. There wasn't going to be anyway I could pick up the screen and the top of the bucket so I just did some LST on the lower nodes to even out the canopy.

Wow only 64ppm, my tap water runs around 300 but I am not ready to buy filters or RO water just yet. Any luck on your Attitude order yet?

    CFL, for flower?

If he had actual 700w of CFL then ya that would be a different story. BTW I love cfl's and I am not telling anyone what to do lol. Good luck with your grow :)

    CFL, for flower?

He asked what was the best spectrum for flower. I said 2700k. Sure you can do it in others but IMO 2700k works the best.

    CFL, for flower?

Your plants will flower better in 2700k lights. Also I wouldn't think of it as 700 watts. A 250w hps will put out a lot more light than what you have.

    CFL confusion

I like using amazon because you dont have to pay tax or shipping. Most people use CFL'S all over there house so I am not sure why discreet packaging would be an issue but I can see why some people may think it it would be.

    First Hydro Cfl Grow

Well I changed my mind again and went ahead and topped it then put up my screen up. Going to try to fill the screen all the way full. I think i can lift up the screen with the top of the pot and slide a new bucket of water and nutrients under it without pulling the plant apart but we will see...

    Newbie here

Looking good so far. I wouldn't change the light times anymore though until you want to 12/12. I usually keep the lights 24/0 for the first couple of days the go to 18/6. Changing the schedule to often can be stressful to the plant. What kind of soil are you using?

    First Hydro Cfl Grow

The HM meter i am using was really inexpensive and seems to give accurate results, though I am not 100% sure how to test its accuracy. I am just going off of the feeding schedule on my nutrients that has the ppm listed next to the ml. For PH I am just using the old fashion drops. I want to...

    First Hydro Cfl Grow

Thanks PK, I got everything on Amazon except for a few things that wouldn't ship free. I paid a little more for the others at a local shop. I decided not use a screen on this and just top it and hope it stays even. I haven't tried this strain before but it seems to be even all around and...

    First Hydro Cfl Grow

As you can see in the last pic i have to pick the net pot pretty far to get the roots out. I wont be able to do that when the plant is stuck in the screen.

    First Hydro Cfl Grow

So this will be my 3rd grow. First grow was under a 15 watt fluro tube that I got for 10 bucks, obviously the plant looked pathetic and yielded less than a gram lol. 2nd was under 6 23 watt cfl's and I got an oz. This will be my first Hydroponic grow. I have 8 23 watt cfl's and will be using...
