1st grow in Seattle, with tent, 78°, 71 RH (with fan)

I am near Seattle and just harvested, growing in a 5x5 with a 600HPS. My RH was 40-50% up to a week ago so there is something else going on with your environment. Try using less water for sure, and if there is runoff when you water clean it up or put a saucer under it. Minimum for that tent...

Effect of Defoliation on Yield - Skywalker OG indoor scrog

Had a "timer bump" incident happen to me only the dark period was interrupted by 3 hours of light which I read is worse than what happened to you, interrupting the light period with dark. I didnt have any problems develop, they should be fine. I didnt use any reverse on mine. The timer is...

Mold growing on bud in jar, any recovery?

I'm sure others have more experience than I with this but I got some mold on my purple diesel when curing in jars. I cut off the mold and a good bit of the unmolded bud around it then jarred those buds in separate jar to isolate any further molding. This happened to me about 3 or 4 weeks after...

AzaMax, plus drench method (use it in soil)

The thread is 4 years old man... But I add 5 ml per gallon for foliar spraying. For a drench what he did seemed to be too much imo at more than an oz per gallon. Azamax is not a more is better product, a small amount will mess with their reproductive cycle. Edit: I should add that rotating...

Most of those leaves will never recover at all and the plant is working hard to save them. Cut off most of the dead or dying leaves (at least 50% of them) the plant will then be able to focus more energy to healthier areas. It will be a long recovery process.

    First time grower/bag seed/learning

Yeah, stick with pots imo. Easier to remove and maintain than those pans I would think. Also, roots like to go deep and those pans are not deep. Try to get as wide a pot as you can in those pans. Definitely look up techniques on how to train your plants. You can supercrop them up until...

    First time grower/bag seed/learning

You could veg until 2 plants are slightly smaller that the Harlequin or Sugar Plum I posted and then flower them imo. Any larger and you will likely run out of space. Good luck

    First time grower/bag seed/learning

Ok looked up some of my pics from this grow for some examples. The flowering time for these was 8 1/2 weeks under a 600HPS. First some of the plants at day one of 12/12. So you can get an idea of how long to veg them for your space. "K7" Mostly sativa Harlequin X Widow hybrid (one of...

    First time grower/bag seed/learning

Yeah, check out youtube for some supercropping videos. It's not a complicated process but take your time weakening the stem before bending over. I assumed it was 2 you were planning, in that case 1 week max. They will look puny but will grow substantially in flower (may post some pics here...

Glad the epsom is helping some. Whether you do clones or start from seed I would not veg them any longer than a week in that grow box before 12/12. The LST should work ok, might need to supercrop them as well. You will learn a lot on this grow. Good luck man.

A risky move but it could work. The perlite will really help your new soil. They can't take the same high temps when they are unhealthy and in shock as they can when they have healthy immune systems. Sounds like it is quite hot there but ideally under 82 and if you can keep it under 85 you...

That's a tough one. It has already been stressed pretty bad and isn't healthy so I would hesitate to further stress her. The dolomite takes time to take effect even if you did mix it in. It needs to cook or break down some. You might think about taking the extra soil you have and mixing in...

Will a bigger tent give me lower temps?

I like the booster fan idea, you can buy cheap booster fans at HD for $20 - 30. Keeping the ducting as straight as possible really helps.

I would let the soil dry out and see how she responds. The fresh soil.will provide enough nutes for at least a week. What pesticide did you use? Was dolomite mixed into the fresh soil?

To kill mites the key is rotation. Dont buy one product and expect to kill them. I use azamax, spinosad, habanero water, and neem drenches in rotation when I get them. For the habanero water go buy about 15 peppers chop them into 4ths or smaller and drop them in about 1-1.5 quarts water and...

How do YOU think there doing?

He will be missed by his friends here at RIU very much. I had no idea he was so sick. Always appreciated his no BS take on things. Wasn't afraid to tell people exactly what he thought. Only been aware of one other death here since I have been a member and it was Popcorn's and your father a...

Just a thought. I keep a good number of plants in veg on "life support" in solo/beer cups, after a while they cannot absorb enough nutes from the small root mass. What I do is foliar feed them and they green right back up. Might be a good idea to foliar feed while just watering with PH...

Strawberry cough vs. Big Bud which is which? HELP

Damn, I was hoping to see something that looked sativa leaning for a clue. They all look like indica leaning hybrids. Here is a shot of SC from the net. Looks like you got an indica dominant pheno of it... Wait until they are cured and sample them, BB is usually more bland, SC more citrus...

Do some reading up on them if you have them. Never heard of anyone using H2o2 successfully. Many different opinions and very different approaches in flower vs veg. I have knocked them back with pyrethrin and with SNS203 during early flower. Orthene is what many people use in veg. I am...
