I think it would reduce the efficiency if I did. I have it mounted outside of the tent on a doorframe. The heatsink gets warm to the touch if turn the fan off. But not hot. I am adding more light to it so I will be building a frame as I'm gonna a have 6 vero 18s either side of my existing bar...

Rechargeable batteries ftw. Pretty sure you could hook up a 5v power supply to each torch and it would work fine

One of them quotes was to me for vero 18s but they don't have them in stock.

That was why I went down the vero route. Cheaper startup cost. Upgrading as I go. If it was cost effective I would run one per driver but it works out too much upfront cost.

Has anyone ever seen this before. Instead of a pre flower in the node spacing it is growing what seems to be a second branch? It is on the opposite side as well and the next node pair down

Surely you can grab a 250w hps and ballast for $50. Would be much better than the 150 and a bazillion times better than that 14w panel. If you can go to about $75/100 you could build a 2 cob light that would destroy all your other options

You could also run 4 @ 1.4 a and still do well in that space. But 8@ .7 a would be more efficient

So day 2 of 12/12 and they are starting g to reach out a bit. I have had a little defoliate to let a bit of airflow get to lower growth. Nothing drastic. Think I took 4-6 leaves from each plant. Brings humidity down a bit and let's a bit more light lower down.

I'm only using 150w of led. 3 vero 29s and 1.4 a. Last run I got 180g I'm shooting for over 200 this time. Temps don't go over 30c and humidity hits about 45-55%rh.I'm using a 120mm pc fan for extractor with a diy carbon scrubber
