I would too. Just saying that $50/z would be reasonable. How many of us can afford $200/z for meds,?....I can't. I really don't foresee "compassionate" prices at the dispensaries, though I've heard of some good things happening in CO. I live south of Tucson.

I carved a garden in red clay. First year is best to pick your battles. Stay away from root veggies, unless you prepare a bed special. This red clay is plenty fertile, just heavy. Compost and sand will fix it. You my need to adjust pH as you get more organic matter in it.

this is a guess based on observation. My basil, once it started blooming, you might as well cut and dry it, or make pesto....

you are aware that they sell seed at walmart. No, it is not illegal to grow. You may run into the govt if you distribute tobacco, not seed, though.

Hi all, Bananas are NOT GMO...they're clones/root divisions. They have a rhizome... hermie corn is a nute imbalance. Last year I had stalks with 3 or 4 ears instead of one at a node. Looked sort of like bunches of bananas.

I do not believe toms are photo. The big difference is determinate and indeterminate. Determinates get a big flush of fruits then pretty much quit. Indeterminates go until frost, disease or drought kills them.

Hi Kitty, Danny and all... The bachelor buttons and cilantro bloom at the same time. I think it looks pretty together. Had a good stand at the other house. This one's just getting started. This is its 1st yr from seed I scavenged. We can never have enough cilantro. We make salad of it. Good...

I managed to grow them [castor beans] w/o ill effects....and didn't take any extra precautions. Handled the seed bare handed, disposed of the plants w/o gloves...maybe God protects the stupid, but, I think the hazard is overblown.

I have heard that dropping a couple castor beans in the hole will take care of it. they supposedly eat on the bean and the rest is history

I hate the way photos come up... These are pretty easy to figure out....devils claw plant. the fleshy purple/green thing...bachelors buttons and cilantro in bloom....jujube grove. I don't really know what kind of stature the tree will assume if by itself and in a location that has more than 4ft...
