I do the 20/80 switch myself...works for me, and it's less bulbs to change :-P

Mine are 8 32w t8 shop lights. They have served me well.

What strain? You got a lot of fans on her? The white hair whatchamacallit's look like an outdoor plant to me. Just curious cause i noticed a big difference between my indoor and the couple of clones i gave to a buddy who had them outside. Cheers Silverserf

She hit the lights about two weeks ago...didn't seem to slow her down at all. Makes me drool every time.

The sun doesn't change color it covers both of thoses spectrums and more, the plants prefer different color light in different growing phases. I switch from mostly one type of bulb to the other but always leave one or two for balance.

Carbon filter all the way. I've seen quite a few DIY for making filters, i can't attest to how well they work but none of them come close to the 10-20 pounds of activated charcoal you can get with a "real" carbon filter. I guess it depends on the # of plants and how stinky they are. FYI you...

Hey all, I've changed my plans and am going to have to switch my my lights back to veg before all the plants are finished flowering. I have about 8 clones that are 3 weeks behind the rest, they are all pretty small, in fairly small pots but they already have some decent buds going on them...

I've been using the GH flora nova Grow and bloom + Koolbloom and floralicious with good results. I don't use much of the floralicious once per water change, and am very sparing with the koolbloom as it tends to burn the plants i find. Glad to know i'm not alone... Cheers, off to the beach...
