Yeah, their the swirled Fluoros. I figured it was the lighting that was sufficient enough. What should i put in there? More CFls with reflector lamps or should i get an HID bulb as soon as possible. Or will they grow enough from 2 CFLs? Yes it is my first grow so cut me some slack.

Yeah thats what i was thinking. I have to fluorescents lights, one 75w and another 100w. I have a lamp pretty close to the seedlings and i have another light that is stationary about a ft away. Should i add another light or move them closer to the light

These are my seedlings or atleast 2 of the 12 that are growing in my ghetto ass grow area. THey are about 4 days old...i guess 5 now but how are they look?? Doing good so far or should i change anything? Any nutrients, watering,etc I need to do??

The space is in my closet about I would say 2 1/2 tall (for now), 1 1/2 deep and 2 ft wide

Well It IS my first grow, but I have done a good amount research. Growing, Grow box, lighting, etc. extensively, but i guess It's my anxiousness kicking in at this point. Thanks to all who help!

What is a good way to control humidity, Im gettng another few Fluorescents when i get the chancce to get another set up, but how can you increase humidity??

About 8 out of 12 seedlings are starting to gain lil cotyledons. The are coming out of the soil and will prolly lose their shells within next 2 days. scratch that!! I just pulled the dried membrance and and low and behold to lil green leaves seperated getting their first glimpses of full light!!!! We made it people, now the interesting part....growing into an actual plant

So I have to pull the membrane off it or will it come off, there like two little things that looks like either the membrance or mega small dead leaves but its literally that big ---> o But i will i know if i removed the membrane or even if its still on there??

I removed the shell and I have a picture. Its basically like a bulb on the top of the stem with i guess has to get more light before it opens up cause i basically just did it about 20 minutes ago. Does it look good?

Alright I will remove the shell when I get home and will inform all of how it goes and after I take the shell off what should happen within the next day??? Will the leaves begin to grow?

And I germinated by the papertowel method they grew very well that way

I use a fluorescent light and I moved it up five inches closer to the light so it's about 4inches away. I ve been using bottled water and I watered last night and watered two days before that. I plan on getting legit box with multiple fluorescents. But I should remove the shell??

On December 31st, I planted one seed and currently, today I is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches tall, the thing is it doesnt have leaves, the shell its basically opened and there is a little...something in there starting to grow. Im surprised there isn't leaves. Lack of water? Light? Too much water...

The one that is currently 8 days old is in regular potting soil, cheap kind. and I planted a few others seeds in MG potting soil. But my seedling will grow?? Even though it is 8 days old and is starting to open the shell, its maybe like an inch and a half tall maybe 2 inches.

Is one fluorescent light good for now or should I just wait to get an HID bulb

Alright my seedling is 8 days old and doesn't have leaves it's just breaking out of the shell. What is wrong? I thought it was doing well
