    AN or Humbolt Nutrients?

Yes, I'd lump GH in with AN, NFTG and HN. Anything that requires you to mix up 8 different bottles and rip you off in the process I consider cannabis specific. From the GH website: "GH will always continue to strive for quality, simplicity, innovation, and a sustainable future."...

    AN or Humbolt Nutrients?

I was being sarcastic in my post. Use dyna gro and jacks for my grows. I will admit to being fooled when I first started and picked up some GH kit. After a couple months of mixing everything and plants not doing well along with some additional research I decided not to buy cannabis specific...

    AN or Humbolt Nutrients?

Cause you're not a grand master grower. You dont have the skills to unlock the potential for the connoisseur line. Sensi is for intermediate growers like yourself who dont have the skills to follow such a complex feeding schedule

Advanced Nutrients? Need help picking some.

Sounds like AN should hire you for their marketing department. Please tell me how you unlock the full potential of your garden and why do you need to be experienced to see these gains. Pretty sure AN throws in the experience grower in their marketing so they can fall back and say well you must...

Young plants are bright yellowish and grey spots are appearing on the leaves.

Think you're wrong here. Plants need nutes from the beginning and he was in rockwool cubes. Maybe in soil you dont need to give nutes, but that is because the soil has its own nutes that can usually get the plants by for a week or 2. OP, I would ignore all of this. Not sure what you're...

Advanced Nutrients? Need help picking some.

Save your money and buy something cheaper. AN is a ripoff and way overpriced for what you get. http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/products/kushie_kush/kushie_kush_product_information.php Kushie Kush...seriously? They have 3 pages of hype and marketing saying all the work they put...

Leaves starting to yellow, any ideas why?

Save your money. You do not need to ph the water in soil. I've literally never ph'd my water once and haven't had any issues. The guy that says you have a ph issues is wrong. I use Fox Farm (first grows was just this I now mix with some perlite and super soil) and dynagro nutes too. You...

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

That is a lot of unnecessary work. One of the big advantages of soil over hydro is that it acts as a nice buffer between the roots and your nutrient solution. I have literally never tested my ph of the water, soil or runoff. If you have problems in soil, your ph is the absolute last place to...

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

No. There is not a technique for this, at least not one that you'd want to use. Most plants will grow 2-3x in size during flowering. Indicas tend to be on the lower end and sativas on the higher end of that range. So plan accordingly. If you want your plants to be 4 ft tall flip to...

Thanks for the update. The GSC x Tahoe OG sounds awesome. How long until those are on the shelf? Will probably grab the DPD x Jamaican for wife. I couldn't remember the strain we got from 14er that she really liked, but came across the empty container last night and it was called Drunken...

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

I think he'll be fine. He said he added perlite so hopefully that keeps it from getting too compacted. I know what you mean with the ocean forest though, it does get compacted pretty easily. He cant keep watering like he has been. The soil on the outer edges of the pot is probably pretty...

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

They look good. You can top now. All I was saying earlier was you didn't have to if you dont want to. You can still get a good yield. I wait til they get to 6th or 7th node, but I usually use the top for a clone in case its a plant worth keeping around.

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

I usually top above the 2nd node. Same technique in the advanced section sticky, you can read more about it there. You can top whenever really, like the other guy said, its hard to mess up. Post a more recent pic. The ones in your journal do not look very big at all...maybe they're old pics.

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

I top all my sativas. My mangos which are indica are just clones that I didn't top. I havent topped any of my indicas so far and have gotten good yield. Also, look at his plants, they're small for 4 weeks. They dont need to be topped yet if he is going to.

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

No, you dont have to top. When you water you need to soak the whole pot. Give it a good soaking and make sure there is some runoff through the bottom of the pot. You're going to have nutes build up if you keep watering like that and you dont want to let the soil surrounding the roots to go...

    FFOF soil + nutes help!

You dont have to top indoors. No idea what that guy is talking about. Are we talking about the same plants in your journal? They look nice. If you're watering those plants every day, I dont see how you are getting away with it. Unless you are you just watering the soil directly around the...

Homebrew: Do you have anything with girl scout cookies in it on the shelf now or coming down the line? Also, was trying to find a good purple strain for my wife. She likes the fruiter tasting strains, and prefers sativas. Anything that matches that?

    11 hours day 13 night ?

I use 11/13. I didn't see any real difference between the two. So I stick with it really for the savings in electricity.
