    sativas ?

Im still new to organics and learning, but this is my understanding and how it was explained to me by an organic grower who grows mainly veggies. If you grow in a properly cycled or cooked organic soil, the plants will take what it wants from the soil so the specific ratio of nutrients doesn't...

    Soil Mix too Hot? Help

You said you have 4 x 7gal bucket. So Im assuming you have about 4 Cubic feet of soil. And you added: 3lb each, Blood meal, bone meal 2lb Kelp Meal So 8lb of amendments total. I believe a good amount is 2-3 cups per Cu. Ft. If you did 3 per then you'd need 12 cups total. I think you are a...

    first organic grow, no fertilizers

You realize that 8.2 is not acidic, right? Acidic is lower on the scale. Most tap water in the US is alkaline or above 7.0. I doubt many people have tap water with a ph below 6.5 which would be considered acidic. Acidic water will corrode the pipes so they treat it to be alkaline which is...

Seeds from RPC, CAM, or Rare Dankness?

Thanks, took a look at their menu. Some interesting crosses in there. From the local companies, I've only grown from 303 Seeds (biodiesel) and a few strains from 14er Holistics. So far all my biodiesels have been male, so hard to recommend them. The stuff from 14er has been really nice...

    first organic grow, no fertilizers

You dont need to worry about PH with an organic soil, the soil will buffer it for you. You're just adding ph up and down solution unnecessarily to your soil.

Heres what Im using for my soil for 1 cu ft. Hoping it will get me through a complete cycle with just water, but am only a few weeks in to my grow. When to clone? Timing question.

Almost impossible to say. Too many factors that are unknown. I'd say give yourself at least 2 to 2.5 months.

First attempt at an Organic grow with self watering system

I topped all of the plants above the 2nd node on Friday. Here is pic from today. The genetics of the strains: B= BioDiesel C = Coast 2 Coast (NYC Diesel x Tahoe OG) L = Lost Tribe (Kosher Kush x Jamaican) F = Floja (Flo x Double Purple Doja) Diagram of plants: L C F B L C F B L C...

Legal to Grow but no seeds?

Read through that link, but I'm a little high. How do some dispensaries sell seeds from 303 seeds, rare dankness, etc...? I dont believe any dispensary actually produce the seeds from either of these companies. I only know of 1 dispensary that is selling their own seeds but many that are...

    The seed list...mostly

No, sorry should have made that more clear. biodiesel is a 303 seeds product. The other 3 strains are your seeds...as you know. I chopped my first 3 Lost Tribes down yesterday, looks and smells really nice so far. One of the 3 was a pheno with some purple in it and darker orange hairs...

    303

You had better luck than I did with the biodiesels. I have grown out 9 of the 12 so far and all have been males (I've had several other strains that all produced over %50 females, so I dont think it is my environment). Planted the last 3, but 1 didn't germinate. Hoping these last 2 turn...

    The seed list...mostly

Wish I could grow more plants, would love to try some of those out. My Lost Tribes are getting close to harvest, here is pic from around day 49...I think: Next run that I started is some Coast 2 Coast, Floja, Lost Tribe and last 2 biodiesels. The biod's have been a big disappointment. Got...

Can't seem to get my cure down right

I think the smell is more determined by the genetics than the curing process. This is based on my experience with a few strains. I'm not saying it doesn't help at all, just that good genetics will ensure you have a good smell and taste moreso than a good curing process. My first few harvests...

I read if you drop the humidity in your tent

Isn't the humidity higher in the summer? And plants flower in the fall outdoors, usually starting around august I think. So why would you want to simulate summer in flowering?

High ph.. (didnt know) and spots.some dark some lighter.not on new leaves tho so

Thats what I thought he meant. To me DWC and RDWC would both be considered recirculating. In DWC the air flow is recirculating the water around the roots. Technically you drain the RDWC to waste too, so just cause you have an extra resevoir one is considered recirculating and one drain to...
