    Question concerning watering

Leaving water sit helps get rid of chlorine. I run water straight tap water with my nutes. Tap water is great for micro nutrients which ro and distilled and most nutes don't contain. Chlorine will not hurt the plants. I have dipped many aquarium plants into chlorine (a 1/2 cup to a gallon)to...

Cant clone super silver haze mom please help

Flush mom out. Keep trying with the lower branches. You'll get a clone. Try using beer cups with soil. Stick a pencil unsharpened pencil or something to make a hole and stick a clone in with or without gel. Try dip n grow, it is cheap, has both iba and the other one. Make sure to get clones into...

    Advanced Nutrients

AN offers Iguana Juice organic one part. I did read that the MEST bloom and grow can be used as stand alone nutes if the dosage is increased.

Simple yes or no will take 2 scnds.. +rep

Yeah, the Y adapters just seem to throw light in different directions vs a horizontal. If you want to run a reflector you can just flatten it out when using a Y. Kinda like a an upside down V.

I believe illegal is just running a powerstrip no reflector. He is using 6 bulbs on one powerstrip. It all depends on what you want to do, a reflector with many lights, two lights or no reflector and just powerstrip with 6-8 lights.

or a powerstrip with the plug-in light sockets, then a y splitter for two bulbs, screw bulbs in hang powerstrip. Hope some of this is helping.

oh, it was ventilation sheet metal, maybe 6 inch tubing, 8 foot lamp cord, and a socket to hold the lights. Unroll the tubing into a reflector shape, cut hole, insert socket, hang with chains.

PICS INCLUCED is it ready yet, most imp part, harvest time

Nice plant. There would be some give and take with the lights. CFL's can be close, you can use them all around the plant, very little heat. HPS would be deeper penetration of light, more efficient use of power, and would get larger buds. Right now you are using 208 watts so a 250 hps would be...

that's a slick diy reflector. I think the y adaptor would work better in it. I really like Illegal's suggestion of the power strip, a little more compact and easy to manage, and damn you can get some wattage going. whoa

Has Anyone tried Mother Earth Tea?

What are you planning on using it for? I also have a thread going on AN nutes. I will be updating it as I use things. I will be using MEST as a supplement to Sensi Bloom A&B.

    Incadescent hot red to start

This is going to be great. lmao There is nothing the plant can use from a halogen, nothing to offer in the correct spectrum of lighting. Use a CFL as it can be a lot closer, generates way less heat, and is cheaper to operate (eco friendly). Anyway this will be interesting.:peace:

Which one of these 2 HPS bulbs would you choose

I'd give the Sylvania Grolux a shot. It is cheaper correct? Also, what I could find out on the bulb it is brighter in lumens by like 3000. http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=HLRBHPS04GL&eq=&Tp= This is a site in the states but it has some info on that Sylvania bulb.
