Regarding the worms and compost- earthworms LOVE cow manure! I can throw 3 or 4 dried and crumbled up cow patties in my compost pile, water them down, and within a couple of days the worms are THICK!!! Learned that as boy needing fishin' worms!

I'm a noob to indoor growing, but it has def caught my interest. I saw a cfl post/grow, and the light sockets were in a y config., a "splitter" so to say. Where can I find one, or several of these? I'm seeing in the indoor grows that all of the pro's stress it's very important in the flowering...

What kind of soil are you using? Reason I ask is, I'm learning the hard way (as if I know any other way), that many auto's are picky little girls about their enviroment. Soil, especially amended soils (i.e.,miracle grow with time release nutes) must be chosen wisely, and the added nutes taken...

My seedlings often get pretty out of sorts when I transplant, and I've read in a number of places to use vitamin B1 to prevent this. However, I can't seem to find a source of it, short of the multi vitamin I take. Can I dissolve and use these??? What am I missing (besides experience)?
