Do lights for flowering need to be dimmed ever? I am wiring up the electrical in my flower room and I am wondering if I should accommodate for dimmers to dim the COBs or not.

I ordered 8 COBs with holders from Cutter. The same day I ordered drivers from southern California. Shipping to Oregon, both packages arrived on the same day! I could not believe shipping from Australia would be so quick.

Yes. 2 drivers, 4 COBs each. I will post a picture of my layout in the morning. It will probably be easier to understand than me trying to explain it.

I decided in order to get the optimum coverage, I will mount each COB on its own 5.886" x 10" heatsink. I will then connect the properly spaced 10" heatsinks together with aluminum angle iron. For veg, I will space the COBs 24" on center, 4 in a row, 2 total rows.

I did go with those drivers. Thanks for the wiring directions. Looking forward building these things.

As long as my heatsinks show up tomorrow as scheduled, I will be building them this weekend. I will take pictures while I assemble them.

I received my potentiometers today. I am unsure as to how to wire them. Google has not been all that helpful. There are three pins on the pot. The two wires from the driver go to which two leads on the pot?

In your proposed setup, You have to remember that running more lights requires more drivers and more heatsinks. This negates any cost savings that the 3070's might have over the 3590's. I think the 3590's are still the way to go. Still need to know the best place to buy the drivers...

Roger that. I didn't know if they were all created equal or not. Do I need one for each driver, or can I wire one to multiple drivers?

Vertical is no issue. I have 9' to play with there. Since 2x2 gets a bit cramped, if you had the space, how much bigger would you go? 2.5'x2.5'? 3'x3'?
