Roots comming out of pots! help =)

transplant and use larger pots in the future... while it is no big deal that the roots are coming out the bottom it does mean that you are getting root bound and that will stunt the growth and hurt your yield. when you pull your root ball out of the pot take a look and see if the roots are...

    Miracle gro bloom booster

not true at all... MG works (i am forced to use it right now myself) but if you use some quality nutes you will see a MAJOR difference. some of us who bash do so cause we know ;) given a choice between MG and Shultze, i'll take the Shultze... given a choice between those and a quality set of...

My first decent grow, how I have evolved over a year, still not their yet though.

many growers use MH for flower and swear by the results... personally i prefer using both HPS and MH for flower... but that light will work for sure... the low wattage also isnt as big of a concern in early flowering so i would say go for it rather than waiting the 3 weeks.

    My first attempt at growing

i dont think it will be too bad to wait another week... but remember, you can always chop and hang the WHOLE plant and then manicure later... not as easy to work with that way but some people say it makes for a better cure.

gotta disagree with you on that Doc. ever hear the old adage "one rotten apple can spoil the whole barrel"? dead plant matter is rotting and rot spreads.

    Daily Grow Tips (with pics)

here's a tip... dont be lazy and dont expect the people helping you to do extra work for free. read the book, dont scan. a lot of grows fail because the gardener is a lazy fuck who cant be bothered to read. Barking Mad, this wasnt a jab at you, just me respectfully disagreeing. :joint:

    Daily Grow Tips (with pics)

this is a rant, so i figure i will just toss it in after the real tip... do not worry about the yield of your first grow! there is no telling what you will get and odds alone say you wont get anything at all because you wont make it to harvest. as a virgin grower just work at getting through...

    Daily Grow Tips (with pics)

water temperature is important for happy plants. i think that hydro systems like the water to be kept chilled but i am not a hydro guy.. just pointing out that my following advice does NOT apply to hydro. in a soil grow, the water temperature should match the grow environment's temp so as not...
