    Vaporizers

I have just bought a Storz & Bickel Plenty as I have to give up all smoking for health reasons. I find it slightly harsh, I'll get used to it I suppose, but I have to say that I am nicely buzzed off a single chamber.

My beauty autos. Northern lights, gelato and purple silverback!

Yep. Fed weekly with Tomorite and a teaspoon of Epsom Salt. I have done a run of photos on 100% tomato feed indoors under LEDs. The only slight niggle I had was a minor calcium deficiency on two plants. So on my next run I am going to add a weekly dose of homemade calmag from the time I flip...

    Overdone with Epsom salts ?

I use Epsom Salts and I usually give one 5ml spoon full per 5L. That sounds like quite a lot to me. I just use regular tomato feed and mix it in with that once a week. I am considering adding a little Calcium Chloride at the same frequency as the Epsom Salts. My last run was the first I have...

    Baking dirt in the kitchen

I use 136L of soil mix per grow. There is no way I could bake all that. TBH the only bugs I have ever had a problem with in 20 years is Fungus Gnats and they are super easy to get rid of.

That was a really good post. I actually learned something. I have noticed people describing elements mobile and immobile and never really understood it. Thanks.

    Talk to me

That is the most flawed reasoning I have ever read. You are growing in a closed environment, it's not the same as outdoors. My tent and gear is washed and sterilised before the start of every grow. I also sweep around the pots regularly and clean up any mess straightaway.

Just done the most satisfying part of setting up a new grow...

Scrubbing the pots, drip trays and cleaning the tent. Probably one of the most important too. I vacuum the tent and spray it with an anti bac/anti mould solution. The pots are done in hot water and dish soap. I have a batch of Autos to sprout on Monday.

    Novice/autos/made mistakes already/ please help

TBH it is proper easy. Most of the problems we see on here are down to human error. Seedlings are like those beans little kids grow at school, you have to work hard to fuck them up. I pop seeds on moist paper towels in an airtight box, placed on top of my PC for warmth. Once they pop they go...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

If I have to top feed nutrients then what is the point of a SIP? I want to be able to fill the reservoir and walk away for at least 4 days. Dry amendments are a really expensive way of feeding a plant. For the first 4 weeks they will get just water as my medium is good for at least that. I...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

I have read conflicting information on this. I have read a lot of information suggesting using nutes in the reservoir is just fine. So I am going to experiment with it and see what works. I was going to use Chempak soluble nutrients. I have seen multiple videos on growing various fruit and...
