Mycorrhiza Fungi...why you should get to know them...

Fair point. I will give it some consideration.

    Should I add extra nitrogen?

I'd offer them a little calmag too.

    Feeding Autos...

Fed them as suggested tonight. I have to say that even though they are running along side my 12/12 Photos they are developing at a fair speed. I have been doing LST since they reached the third internode and each plant has developed 5 or 6 viable heads with great structure. I am very happy...

    Feeding Autos...

As Epsom Salts is a naturally occuring mineral, that is mined, isn't it all organic?

    Feeding Autos...

Yeah. I got that whilst self isolating. They did the entire Old Timers Range for a price. I saw this morning that Home Bargains have Epsom Salts for £1.69 a KG.

    Feeding Autos...

Hi, I am experimenting with 4 Autos. It is the first time I have done Autos. They are a little over 4 weeks old and are showing the first signs of flower. The soil I have them in is usually good for about 4 weeks. I gave them a dose of calmag at 3 weeks. I am using Plant Magic Old Timers...

    Can You Smoke Leaves?

My Wife does. She used to smoke regular joints all the time. Bong or Pipe hits are too much for her. So she gets a super thin rolling paper, makes a roach and sprinkles in a little bud. She then fattens the joint with dried leaf. It works well and isn't harsh.

    Does anyone use organic growing?

I'm sure the Fish Emulsion and Kelp will be fine without it. I have grown plenty of weed without Mycorrhiza. I'd just leave it until next time.

Best clip fan for your tent?

Status 6" clip on fans. I have two that are over 20 years old, still going strong. I bought some cheap eBay fans that lasted a few weeks. So spent out on some new Status fans, they have been running 24/7 since April.

I just realized I know nothing. What even is this "soil" you speak of?

Fish Farming is sustainable. Fishing is not. I never said I was going to use them, just I could if I want to. I might do none of them and stick with the coir mix I am using. Thanks for the link.

    Are nutrients essential?

I assume by FF you mean Fox Farm. I have to admit that I have looked at their stuff in great detail and I can't see what is so special about it that commands such a premium price.

I just realized I know nothing. What even is this "soil" you speak of?

I have just gone "Peat Free". The mining out of 12,000 year old Peat Bogs isn't sustainable, plus Peat Bogs are considered to be Carbon Soaks, drawing excess Carbon from the atmosphere. So I have gone Coco Coir based. I am using a pre-mixed call New Horizon by Westland. They use Coir...

Acidic freshly mixed peat based soil

    Each to their own.

Acidic freshly mixed peat based soil

I realise this isn't going to be a popular opinion around here, but you shouldn't really be using Peat. The use of Peat is unsustainable. It takes 10s of thousands of years to form and Peat bogs are a soak for excess carbon in the atmosphere...

Mycorrhiza Fungi...why you should get to know them...

I'd love to be able to compost, I just don't have the time.

My ladies have thrips!! please HELP

I use it as a drench. It takes a few applications. You can run it up to a ratio of 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide to 4 parts Water.

    Are nutrients essential?

I have changed that a bit since June. I have discovered how bad using Peat is for the environment. So I have swapped from Jack's Magic to Westland New Horizon. Which is the same as Jack's Magic but replaces Peat with Coir. I have also been unable to get Tomorite locally, basically it is not...
