I was led to believe it is the exact opposite. I use Sonoff switches all over the house I will experiment with my desk fan.

DIY: SONOFF Fan Temperature Control TH16 TH10

That does sound cool. I am in the middle of building an OpenHAB box on an Raspberry Pi 2 so I can take everything "off grid". At the moment I am solely reliant on the eWelink and Google Home to run everything, if the internet for went down I'd be screwed.

DIY: SONOFF Fan Temperature Control TH16 TH10

Very good. I have done my lights and fans with Sonoff Basics. I didn't know these existed when I set it all up. Before the summer I am going to get a Sonoff Zigbee Hub and do it that way. I have to say that Sonoff kit is great. I have been running mine since April and they haven't gone...

    My DIY LED Grow Lights | 350w < $50

I have a pair of these. Your reasoning is spot on. I bought them to fill some gaps in the tent, but I didn't pay anywhere near the price the OP did. He paid $40 per light, I paid $15 per light. For a little more than he paid I could have got a pair of Mars Hydro TS1000s. As a side comment...

    Need a Single-Outlet Temperature & Humidity Controller

My plan is to get a Sonoff Zigbee hub, some temp/humidity sensors and some sonoff basics and use a Raspberry Pi 2B running OpenHAB. At the moment I am just controlling my lights with Sonoff and a Google Assistant rountine.

    Need a Single-Outlet Temperature & Humidity Controller

No you don't need a Smart speaker. I think you are confusing wifi and the internet. Sonoff do many different solutions some RF based, some wifi based and some internet based. They can also be configured to work in different ways, depending on what you want to do. I have been using Sonoff...

    Vermiculite or Pearlite?

I have been using Vermiculite for years. I was introduced to growing by a friend, he used it in his soil mixes so I did the same and never questioned it. I have been using a premixed soil called Westland Jack's Magic, it is easily available in the UK. However that is high in Peat and Peat is...
