    Magnesium deficiency?

well, it would have to be over watered if its between those two... my previous grows failed due to my lazy watering habits. I'm on-top of watering these days... But, I am going to let them dry out an extra bit longer before I water again. Maybe the water I'm using this time is still too high in...

    Magnesium deficiency?

They could be over watered, possibly. they've been quite light after 2.5 ish days and thats when I water. top 1.5 inches of medium is very dry when I water. I haven't checked the ec... I'll check next feed. I've been feeding at .25ml/L when the recommended amount is 1ml/L. 480W LED. dimmed to...

    Magnesium deficiency?

well, I guess its feed, water, water then from now on.... I've been doing feed, water, feed at about 1/3 recommended solution strength. But, can this be my only issue, overfeeding possibly? I thought I was going too easy on the feed this round.

    Magnesium deficiency?

My last 3 grows have had same issue as this one. Rust spots appear on lower leaves and upper leaves are light in middle and darker on edges. I thought it was my very hard water in previous grows causing magnesium lockout so I switched to bottled water. 150ish ppm compared to my 400ish ppm tap...

Using 90s in tent duct for flow

I use 90 degree elbows with ducting and pantyhose... keeps out flys and such but I doubt it filters anything else out.

    Here's hoping....

Day 14 The smaller one, the PK, is now holding itself up without support. Seems like it's starting to get on track. I watered with only water saturday afternoon, so by Tuesday morning they should be dry enough for another feed. The Platinum Cookies has roots starting to grow out through the...

    Here's hoping....

I had a sample kit of the Medi One line, so I figured since I was using plain peat I'd try the liquid nutrients. https://greenplanetnutrients.ca/product/1-part-medi-one-feed-program-bundle/ A family member uses it with only the pro mix with good results.

    Here's hoping....

The current medium is 1 gallon each pot of Pro Mix HP, straight from the bag. It has mycorrhizae and some dolomite lime and not much else. Not even a TBSP of EWC. I've previously mixed up the peat with worm castings, perlite and Gaia Green 444 and 284.

    Here's hoping....

This is what I've fed them so far, at half the recommended amount.

    Here's hoping....

My watering habits have been horrid as of late. I'm trying to unlearn my old ways and start fresh. This is my first time using the Pro Mix straight out of the bag. It's only temporary. In my previous grows I mixed it with compost and perlite and simple dry amendments. I only had enough for a...

Thanks for the tips. I'll give water a try. ;)

    Here's hoping....

It's only Pro Mix HP. The plants had no food available, so after 7 days I fed them lightly.

    Here's hoping....

Haven't had much success as of yet, but here's hoping! 2 different bag seeds, both germinated same day. Looks like 1 isn't gonna make it possibly. They're in 1 gallon plastic pots on day 11 and both have been fed twice using Green Planet Medi One line. This is July 12 3 days later, July 15...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Good to hear 2ish gallons in the reservoir will work. I dont mind filling water up. yes, 10 gallons of soil. I've used the same 45 litre totes you have there, Myke.

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

With about 1/2" air space between the top tub and water I'm left with a reservoir of 10ish liters or about 2.6 gallons. Hopefully thats enough water. I guess re-filling the reservoir every few days is better than the alternative. I've got a while until my 1 gallons are ready for transplant, but...

What's an adequate amount of air space between water and soil tub? The way I have it now I might have 1/2 an inch maybe...
