    DWC -SOG .

Four in a 1.2x0.9 area isn't a SOG. Would make a good SCROG though. I'm doing SOG in a 1.2x1.0 and it looks like this

Can you guess the lighting used to produce these beautiful nugs??

They look about as dense and leafy as what I used to get from the first generation of blurple grow LEDs in about 2012?

    Light type for seedlings?

they'll be fine. i run a 580w led 24" above my seedlings with no problems. have done ever since i switched to led.

Mainlining "arm-pits" buds bellow mains (after flip)

depends what you want to end up with. if you leave them you will probably, depending on the strain, end up with more yield overall. the bud you get off that lower growth will be less dense and of poor quality compared to the top colas. you could defoliate the canopy a bit to try and get more...

It means I earn a decent supplementary living and experience a bit of stress. If immature plants are defined as under 24 inches, Assuming that's height just LST, top/FIM, supercrop and SCROG the fuck out of them and you could have them finished under 24 inches with the right strain and a bit of...

I'm in a prohibition country. So I eat well, but I don't sleep well. For me it's more productive as I use one small tent for 13 weeks to produce enough seeds for two years. If I ran clones I would need to run that tent all the time for two years. So for the rest of that time that space is...

I wouldn't start feeding again. They'd start producing new pistils in a tardy manner and you'd get sick of it. Just keep flushing and they're done when they're done. Don't reduce lighting hours

Yeah never smoke the ones you spray. You wouldn't want to anyway if you saw one in full male glory covered In silverish grey CS residue anyway, pollen all over the place. yucky. Yeah when I do a seed run I sprout about 400 seeds in rockwool, pick the strongest 6 or so which are always the first...

That's true, but you don't have to pollinate a different plant. Spraying just one lower branch makes just that one branch produce feminized pollen. That branch polinates the rest of the plant and you get genetic uniformity faster that way, or at least it appeared so. Worked for me anyway.

Yes you will seed the whole grow. With photos the only reason to do it is if you want to archive a strain while you grow something else or take time off, move house, make a hybrid or whatever.

Yes I found that in the first generation I got several phenos with most the strains I have done, however by selecting the most consistent seedlings and self pollinating that way I got to about 99% uniformity by the third generation. I too believed high quality CS was required because that was...

Fair enough brother. I light up a couple of my old 600hps units in the coldest months too. Although, this winter I'm going to burn a bit of propane instead for the heat and the co2

Spray one branch with colloidal silver every day for 2 weeks starting in the first week of flower and that's it. That is literally all you do to produce enough feminized pollen to seed a whole room full of plants and produce thousands of feminized seeds. From 4 plants I get about 7000 seeds...

No clue as I've never done it. But for $50 a pop you'd have to be breeding professionally to drop over a grand on testing gear.

That's true at the moment, at least from my observations, that autos don't meet the potency levels of an equivalent photo. I remember when autos were just starting to become a thing, and breeders were beginning to push them which was when I started to get into growing in about 2011 maybe? Back...

    Tryin sumthin with my autoflowers

Probably down to poor breeding, i.e not enough generations before they released the strain. I found that with auto mendo mass, there were three distinct phenotypes. Once I crossed it with white widow and then selected one pheno from that batch and bred that one exclusively for two generations I...

Don't let this put you off. I thought the same thing when I switched to autos, for the first two grows I was like "what the fuck have I done, these things are terrible!" But after growing them for a year I would never go back to photos. I've grown autoflowers of white widow, mendo mass, critical...

    Tryin sumthin with my autoflowers

I've grown thousands of autos. I breed my own and grow in a SOG, so thousands of them quite literally. I have noticed that they have a tendency, depending on the strain, to do the bulk of their flowering between weeks 6 to 10 and then just slow right down and spit out new pistils at a much...

    two problems?

I just measured soil PH, and it is PH4.8 Seems awfully low to me, although I don't grow in soil I have always been of the understanding that PH6.0 is the target in soil. How do you think I should go about adjusting it? We are on well water which is currently about PH6.7. If I mix my usual...
