I Need to Vent - or not

Thanks. So with “no need to vent outside” for the smell, I believe you’re saying the filter will keep the odor during the most pungent stages at bay, even if I’m just venting back into the room?

I Need to Vent - or not

Setting up my 2x4x60” tent for autoflowering indicas in my home office’s closet. I bought a 4” diameter 190 cm fan and carbon filter(1). If I just exhaust into the office will the smell be noticeable(2), or do these filters remove all the smell? Do I instead need to run the vent so it exhausts...

Random questions from a newbie tent grower

I'm building a closet grow with a 2 x 2 x 52" tent. Although I've grown outdoors several times, I'm struggling with a few items here. This will be used in a closet in the room where I have my home office. I can vent the thing outside through a window, and I plan to grow two autoflowering...

    Have to harvest (outdoor plants)

Thanks, just did. Quite the job undoing the screen but they’re finally hung.

    Have to harvest (outdoor plants)

Trichomes are milky at last. Ideally would wait til they’re a bit more amber but the weather ahead yields a high risk of mold as its cloudy, cool and rainy. I can’t cover them and I’m concerned about them being spotted.

Is this bud rot or something else?

Really do appreciate your help. I’m posting eight picks; two for each plant, one of the canopy and the other of a cola close up. Here’s the plant where I found the mold - so far impacted just the one offshoot mentioned yesterday on this plant.

Is this bud rot or something else?

Nice. Bad news but at least I know. So, including this one I have four plants close together. I assume this one is history. If the others don’t show signs (I’ll check them in the AM), should I let them finish outdoors or harvest right away? They’re two weeks from ideal harvest but probably...

Is this bud rot or something else?

This happened on a branch underneath the main canopy, which is on top of a screen. All the same I cut it off just be sure; it’s not a critical component of this plant. My question: is it bud rot / mold? I’m thinking no because it’s crinkly instead of slimy, but am wondering since it happened...

    Early Harvest - Making Capsules?

Thanks all. I know it only takes two weeks to dry a harvest, but my main q is whether or not I can proceed with making the capsules immediately upon harvest. (also, appreciate the cbd comments but without the cbn component, cbd doesn’t help much for me re pain and sleep)

    Early Harvest - Making Capsules?

I suffer from joint pains from old injuries and these cause insomnia. The best concoction I’ve found are homemade CBN/CBD capsules that involve heating plant material in a convection oven on a cookie sheet, and then simmering with other components. When I look at the science behind converting...

    Late stage nitrogen?

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot. Worried about mold with tying them down to avoid detection so that’s a good tip.

    Late stage nitrogen?

I think there’s some truth to the generally hungry comment. Weird weather here in my part of the Great Lakes....totally dry for much of the summer so I had hoses running to it. Then we had two massive rainfalls. 4” in 48 hrs, a few smaller events during the ensuing week and then 2” more all...

    Late stage nitrogen?

Thanks, I bought it based on its supposed protection against heat. It’s just tough to learn much about it but if anything, it didn’t appear to cause any harm.

    Late stage nitrogen?

We had some Japanese beetle problems earlier in the year but they’re gone. Appreciate the link and info on phosphorus. After reading through it, I’m a bit leery of trying to fix that because I might do more harm than good.

    Late stage nitrogen?

I did two feedings with 10-10-10. One upon transplanting and another a month later, none since then. Quantity was what the instructions indicated to use for the relevant square feet of the grow, I don’t recall the figure.
