I used to use little twisty ties to hang for drying. What I do now that I really like much better is just leave a side branch cut short as your little hook. Try it out sometime, it really saves time. You can even use a side-nugget as the hook.

I think you have issues. The purple leaves you mention look OK but it seems a little early to be seeing that. The bright yellow leaves aren't age/flower related -- they are due to some problem. I've never had that in flower (except when I had root rot issues in my first two feeble DWC grows)...

I agree losing leaves in flower is normal but in picture 5, I have to say the plants look sick, not tired. How far into flower are you? If you're not a week or two away from harvest I don't think pic 5 is of a healthy plant.

This could be part of your problem, although 180 isn't bad. We have shit water here and I had problems until I went to RO. Have you checked the PH of your run-off?

The few times I used a peat moss based soil mix on my mothers, it was a real PITA. I'm not sure why anyone uses peat over coco these days.
