Need Volunteers to Appear in Documentary

Eh, I believe him. Alot of crummy doc's out there on the subject. Here's your opportunity to star in one. :)

    True HP Aero For 2011

I am still using it, and silica. I had a spell of dropping PH, but I attribute it to my well water. Other than that, I'm pleased with it's results & ease of use. I chopped yesterday. Pretty soon I'll start working on the next system. When I can pull myself away from other hobbies. Been...

Actually, taking another look at the spec sheet, it looks like they have some with larger orifices' but the flow rates get up there pretty quick. Bio .016" = 1.125 gph Bio .025" = 2.25 gph Bete .015" = 3.54 gph Bete .024" = 9.6 gph To get similar throughput as the bio's you'd have to run the...

    True HP Aero For 2011

I'm not saying they wouldn't work. It's strange that they'd show their video running 850 psi, more than double of what the spec sheet reads. Even if 400 was max, and 30 min, the middle of the road would be 200+ Those orifice diameters are way smaller than what I've seen/heard to be successful.

I also remember Atomizer saying that the bete's weren't ideal. I thought it because they were designed to run at much higher pressures. In the video on their website, the pj is being hit with 850 psi, and the mist looks like it came from an air atomized nozzle. At 100 psi, I'm sure it's not all...

    True HP Aero For 2011

I'm gonna get through this grow and try & get something going shortly after. I'm thinking a shallow RDWC with nozzles running a seperate res, pointing down from the top. From what i understand the upper roots are the ones designed for max oxygen uptake. Yeah, it's a decent bush considering...

    True HP Aero For 2011

Very nice work there, nuggly! I too plan to build a HPA on top, RDWC on bottom setup. Trying my hand at straight RDWC for now. Messing with the PH constantly is quite the pain. This bush should be finished in 10-15 days. I hope you start a thread on your hybrid setup.

Taking the plunge: HP Aero Drain to Waste

80% seriously? I had no idea the savings were so significant. Is there a good thread that could get me familiar with the basics? I am certainly capable of searching for myself, but sometimes it's good to cross promote. :-D

    True HP Aero For 2011

There was a pic on one of g-loves threads where he cut away all the fluff from the root mass, and there was a ring of tap-roots shooting down. Also, he confirmed that there was a substantial growth spurt once roots hit the mat. I spent the entire day reading through his threads. I feel pretty...

work in progress pneumatic aeroponic system

I know exactly what you're talking about. I had the same problem with the 2" foam. I ended up carving a flair around the holes. It helped a little. Careful with that wandering jew. It'll take over your entire house if ya let it. :)

    True HP Aero For 2011

I inquired about it, and according to the seller, about 30 units made it to the states. I'm intrigued as to his knowledge, and hope to squeeze some more info out of him. As far as drenching goes, 10 seconds is more than enough to accomplish that. 3 seconds on would likely suffice. I would also...

Constructing a Homebrew Atomix Air-Atomized Aeroponic System

Cool! So now we have two cooling chambers in process. I like it. Filling your tubing with sand or salt can get you some tight bends without kinking. Trichy, I would suggest making sure your target temps are achieved before glassing. If your "top only" cooling doesn't pack enough punch, you'll...

Testing the Aerolife True HPA AA (Air Atomized) System -First run

An old hippie who's been growning more years than I've been alive swears by cedar chips. I cannot confirm 100%, but I can say that since keeping an open bag in my room, I've not detected their presence. Oh, and aquatec all day!

Constructing a Homebrew Atomix Air-Atomized Aeroponic System

Looking forward to seeing this coil cooled chamber for sure! There is a foamboard adhesive that I recently tested out to see how well it bonded two pieces of 2" foam. It was surprisingly strong. Probably not healthy for plants, but I think if you cut channels, and used the adhesive in the...

High-pressure (aka "true") aeroponics - nutrient schedule?

I find that first hand experience is invaluable. Something that you've managed to dodge in 134 posts. How is that? For as much information & interest you have on the subject, not ONE sliver of your info comes from personal experience. Not ONE photo of your setup/roots/anything. You state that...

High-pressure (aka "true") aeroponics - nutrient schedule?

I don't get what you're trying to say here broski. Sounds like a sales-pitch to me. I don't know that there's anything a genesis machine does that hasn't already been replicated by some folks here. Telling people to stop tinkering (wasting time) with established, as well as un-established...
