high pressure aero & arduino project part 1/2 - Conception and Design

Just my .02 I really don't think the root scrog is going to be very effective. I've noticed my roots naturally spread out more so than down. This has alot to do with nozzle placement. I veg a long time and my roots get massive. Even with 4 nozzles now, the mass is getting hard to manage.

    nuvoh20 system

Have you tried sediment filters already? I thought that the iron in my water was probably going to be a spendy fix, and just settled for delivered R/O water. Recently I ran some water through a $40 whole house filter, and was pretty surprised by how much it cleaned up. I think 2 or even 3 of...

    True HP Aero For 2011

I know y'all must be gettin tired of seeing my roots, but over the past 2-3 days something awesome happened. New roots just shooting straight out whiter & fuzzier than any I've had, in such a high abundance. They are upto 3" long and look abso-fucking-lutely like what I want all over, lol. 2...

Testing the Aerolife True HPA AA (Air Atomized) System -First run

Just for the kiddies that might wanna try anyway, it is possible. And, I was told a neoprene insert would never be able to hold a large plant... Hmm.

What do ya think about those ideal root zone temps? Seem a little high to you guys?

    Removing rockwool from rooted clones...possible?

I've never used rockwool, but I gave up on trying to remove starter cubes (spongy material) from clones, as it's pretty easy to rip those tender roots without even realizing it sometimes. I got lucky a couple of times, but killed off my share of cuttings for sure. I was trying for completely...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

I'm kinda on board with what you're saying, aside from the nebulizer. A fan could work as long as it didn't stay on long enough to dry the roots. I like the idea of some sort of diaphragm moving back & forth to create turbulence in the chamber, like a sub woofer... I've not really had much...

My chamber is temporary. I just wanted to get the feel for the large volume chamber before building a more permanent structure. I have some super dense styrofoam panels I'm itching to put to use.

It's just 6 mil plastic, framed. I think good access is an important aspect. At least until you become veteran, then you just set your shit, and know that it's right. I've been doing BBQ comps for a couple years, and Myron Mixon (a badass in the scene) says, "hell yeah I only cook one brisket...

    True HP Aero For 2011

I hope in all this new building everyone is doing, they get an opportunity to get some massive roots goin so I can have someone to compare pics & such with. These are looking pretty good, but the transition from dwc to white fluffy took quite awhile. I probably screwed up by not over-misting the...

I was a bust bastard yesterday. Dug 15' of trench over 2.5' deep. Was goin for 20' but ran out of piss & vingar. Got the ends of the pipe fitted up with a couple 3" toilet flanges. Turned out pretty good. Still got some painting & a couple other things to do, but I'm almost there. Question...

    dirtless dickkheads aa adventure

Gotta admit, I'm a little jealous of all the AA fever goin around. I think I'll stick to hydraulic as it seems to have lost the spotlight. I believe atomizer confirmed that hydraulic can perform almost as good (which is pretty fucking good) as AA if executed proper like. I think coverage is the...

So, first off thanks atomizer for the awesome suggestion on the thermal chimney. I get it now, and it'll be more work but I think it's worth it. First things first. I stated that the holes I drilled were 3", and I meant to say 4. Turns out the OD of a 3" coupler fits just nice, so I chopped a...

Its only gay if you chub up, lol. Long black & deep, got it. Ok, so should I reduce the 4" down to like 1" at the connection to my tube?

    True HP Aero For 2011

Sweet. Thanks boys. About how much 3-4" should I bury, and the ports on the tube would be reduced down a bit from 4", right?

Having this 10" pvc just laying around collecting dust was just killing me, so I decided my greenhouse was due for an upgrade from filthy dirt, lol. So, I cut some holes in an 8' section. Thinkin simpleponics, soaker ring in a cup of hydroton. The barrels are going to catch rain water from 2...

    The very best hydro rig!

That is nice to see. What big balls you have cutting 90 clones and keeping em alive, lol. Damn dude. You have probably the most impressive foot print EVER for what you yeild. Good shit!

    True HP Aero For 2011

Pretty cool fog setup. I think you've optimized it about as much as plausable. Nicely done. I got an idea that sounds a little crazy, but I think it's not all that crazy. A root chamber is alot like a speaker box, and I'm pretty sure we've all built one of those in our time, lol. The only...

I don't really understand how the inpingement nozzle hasn't gone through any scrutiny in a field so dedicated to control.

I don't disagree with you very often, but I still have 6 bios I need to send in for better ones... To my knowledge you haven't yet tried the .8gph dig nozzles? I don't know what nozzles were sent to you by hammer, but the digs won't just humidify an area, and they've got a decent throw. I...
