    New seeds

Probably! Like I say, don't worry about them :D however hard that sounds :D If they don't no worries just veg fewer plants for longer. Friend of mine vegges for ages and gets 18-20 oz per plant!

    New seeds

I really wouldn't worry about them for now. The germination process is simply a case of give them a bit of moisture in a warm place and leave them to it. They will pop up within a few days, some take longer than others - I had one of mine pop up a week after the others! Despite that she is...

    Curing..need some help :)

Eventually it starts to degrade, though it takes more than half a year from what I can tell. I normally smoke all mine within that time, but in case the op is considering long term storage, a word to the wise!

Is there an easy way of checking and maintaining rh inside the jar? Or is it a case of keeping it in a room at that rh?

    New seeds

Lovely :D What strains? Make sure they don't dry out from being left open like that. I would be more cautious than curious and just gently nudge a little loose moist soil over the top of the hole. If a tap root becomes completely dry (however unlikely it may be), the plant will die. Happy...

    Curing..need some help :)

Though I am new to growing, I am not new to harvesting, having been a paid harvester for a few years now (grower friend is disabled and also hates chopping). I always use the rule of thumb of "dry until twigs will snap rather than bend". At that point I put them into mason jars but leave the...

    Seedlings under 150hps ok??

A lot of people told me that it was too early for the big light, but I have not found this to be true. Just start with it quite far from the plants in the early days, it'll be fine.

    Seedlings under 150hps ok??

FWIW, I used a 250 MH on mine and it worked fine. Your biggest battle will probably be that the light spectrum in an HPS isn't what the plants need for vegetative growth, but it should work ok. Also, having read all over the net that you should hold the back of your hand the distance from the...

Or, am I reading you wrong, are you saying capes don't release the terps yet degrade them?

Growing techniques specific to producing hash

Yes, I read your post, but my point remains the same. If I vape, it tastes great. When I smoke what comes out, it tastes unpleasant, so I fail to see that by vaping I am missing on some terpenes that taste great. Wouldn't the vapor poo taste nice if so? I vape on the max setting on my volcano...

    Welcome New Members!

Not necessarily. Kush refers to a subset of the indica species. Its landrace heritage is Afghani. It does tend to be rather nice, but not the strongest, and I have seen both excellent and poor quality variants. Seek the truthiness https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kush_%28cannabis%29

PS qwizoking, I dont mean to bitch, I respect your opinion on how you like to get high, it's all good. I just don't like subjective opinion being touted to me as fact :) Peace <3

Growing techniques specific to producing hash

To be fair, taste is subjective and not fact at all. In fact taste is mostly genetic. To say "it is not as tasty and that is a fact" is rather silly when you have someone here saying "I don't find that vaporisers are less tasty than burnt plant matter". Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a bong. In...

Growing techniques specific to producing hash

Not really that bothered by autos, I'm only growing a couple because they were free and will flower and harvest before my others finish vegging. However, I will be considering an indica dominant "hash strain" for a future grow. Next grow may well be a clone of my Super Lemon Haze and an indica...

Growing techniques specific to producing hash

I'm sorry, I don't like to sound obnoxious, but that is completely untrue. When I got my vape, a S&B Volcano, I immediately reduced my cannabis consumption by around 50% because it was so much more efficient than smoking, not to mention the vapor poo that is left over for making tinctures etc...

Haha yeah I got one of those grinders. It pays lots if you give the screen a wash with hot soapy water once a week. I thought I would be washing away the goodness that was stuck to the screen, thinking it would come off of its own accord, but no, wash it off and you will collect loads more...

Ahar, gotcha! Thanks. I will for sure be making some BHO but the process scares the shit outta me so I won't make much lol! Making a diy tumbler, and gonna see if i can get hold of some dry ice. Other than that I will make ice water hash, some of which gets mixed with my bho to make jelly...

Growing techniques specific to producing hash

Don't *ever* flush it? That goes against most that I have read! Everyone seems to say you must flush a week before harvest and feed only water for the last week to remove the chemical taste. It is this that yellows the leaves, and why I was curious as to its effect on trich yields from trim...

Haha thats ok man :) Cheers! Thanks, what is the method you speak of? Also I'm not sure what PGR means sorry! Does flushing a week before harvest diminish trichs on trim?
