i am completely new to growing also.. but i thought you need a lot more than like 45w to grow multiple plants... am i misunderstanding what your using for lights?

ah i thought you meant this CFL Lights > CFL Accessories > 4 Metre CFL Lamp Lead lets you hang an extra cfl to a reflector with a cfl inside it

also it seems like hps could be pretty pricey to consider you have to purchase the ballast, and more expensive on electric bill. plus in a 2x3x10 closet.. not much area for a lot of hotness.. so i think ill stick with CFL's.. maybe 1 200w blue and 1 200w red. and get mylar or something.

what are spliters used for? never heared of those? hmm ill look into hid

my question is how are you guys affording to buy so many CFL's and switch to HPS and stuff.. aren't these lights extremely expensive.. i am also deciding whether to go cfl or hps. i am in a 2x3x10 foot closet , very small area so thinking about going cfl

soul, so your saying use more bulbs but less watts? for more area coverage? but wouldn't i spend a lot more money to buy reflectors for them all to plug in and hang?

ah nevermind they do have lights there nice, saves me 20$ a lot better, hopefully they ship to usa now :)

ok ok , well ill have to see if i can afford 3... these lights are like 100 usd each at 200watts in usa. :( and then the reflector is 80usd very very expensive to get this started :(

does bcseedking ship to USA? stealthy?and fast? because i know dr chronic does and i was going to use them. but if this site does then ill probally go there, also i hear when they give free seeds away usually aren't feminised or something like that. this will be my 1st grow either place i buy...

icic, i can leave all 3 lights on during veg and flowering right? or would red spectrum's not have any affect on the plants during veg stage?

ok u said look into a hid.. but 400w hid in a 2x3x10 is a lot of light for very enclosed space isnt it?

i am also buying these lights and oding a closet grow 2 200watt, but a lot more expensive, 80$ for the reflecotr with ballast..and then an extra 100 each for the bulbs :(

i finally found a store near about an hour away from me that sells CFL's. Highest they have are 200watt I'm wondering if 1 red spectrum and 1 blue spectrum 200 watt will be good enough for 2-3 plants. or should i get 3 CFL's? its in a 2x3x10 closest.. what do you all think?

basically i am wondering what people in the USA use to raise and lower the lights. i am going to be in a 10foot closet and going to have a few lights so i am wondering how i will raise and lower them when plants grow? hat system do people use? is there something that is already made thats...

and my other question is would i have to get a ventilations system or anything for just 2 plants in my closet with a fan on them?

ok and if i do go with foxfarm it already contains the perlite correct? and enought nutrients so that i wont have to feed plants for about 2-3 weeks?
