Instead of putting the plant you want to be a mother into flower and then re-vegging it, you could just take a clone from it and once it has rooted you can sex that. This puts a lot less stress on the mother. Good luck. :hump:

Leaves will most definitely turn over the other way to get at the light. It's their nature. Will they? Probably not. The light from those CFL's will be a lot more intense than the light reflecting off the floor (granted you keep them close to the tops of the plants, within 1-2 inches), though...

It's easily done, a lot of people prefer CFL's to HID lighting. Check out my grow journal for some beginning CFL insight. Halfway done with vegging a mother right now.

Yeah don't use foil buddy. Line the walls of your fish tank with white poster board, and you might want to look into investing in a fan to blow in the top of that, might help with some temp issues. Good luck. :hump:

Well I'm no expert, but from what I've read I think you may be right about a cal/mag deficiency. Try some calmag or epsom salt? Good luck. :weed:
