If i were you, i would design the system so i could easily access the reservoir without taking the system apart. But the idea looks good so far, the amount of plant is not very important, you can go 3 or 30 or 300.

Both DWC and Aero will produce ridiculous large crops, are easy to clean and maintain. DWC is usually cheaper to built tho.

By adding any calicium source to your feeding schedule. SensiCal Mg and CalMag+ are both very good product.

DWC or Aero will both give you better results than ebb & flow system. Not to bash EBB systems, that is what i currently have but if i had to redesing my room, i would go DWC. I have had way better harvest on my 1st recirculated DWC system.

Yes you are right, chlorine in small amount is benificial for the rootzone of the plant and will prevent algae and deasies.

All depends how much ppm is your tap water coming out. I'd say you can use tap water as long as it's under 100PPM. I used to use straight tap water into a DWC bucket without letting it sit and everything was perfect but my tap water was +/-60ppm.

If they are organic, it's another story but i doubt that slow release nutes can be organic.. If they are chemicals, there's nothing to worry about.

Both works good, but RW holds a LOT of water so you won't need as much water as you'll need with RR plugs.

On my 1st grow, i used to use aquariums ph down. It works but it's ridiculous how much you need. The ph down from the hydro store is a 16% phosphoric acid and you only need drops vs the fish product. It would be cheaper for you to use leamons or some vinegar.

On smaller plants with rockwool, you might not need to water everyday untill they start to get bigger, i water every 2-3 days. 4x4x4 RW cubes.
