Many factors will raise the ppm. Dust, algae, dirty hands in the res... Anything that is mineral will raise the ppm. Also, water evaporate but not salts and minerals. Tap water also play a factor.

Find a stud, screw a small piece of 2x3 or 2x4 onto the celling studs and hang it to it.

I am pretty sure a duct reducer 6" to 4" would do the job. Get a L bracket, take out the socket and hook the mogul base right onto the L bracket. Hook a reducer on each end or if you have a 6" fan than voila!

A relay would allow you to use one ballast to run 2 lights 12/12, Day & Night. So basicaly the ballast would be ON 24/7. You can swap your actual circuit and run a double pole circuit and get a 240v feed.

Keep spraying water few times a day over the plants, it will helps them since there is not much humidity. Also you can place open 2L of water and let them evaporate... if your temp is lil high will gives you nice humidity.

I don't know about bud candy, never heard of. But i also use Sweet Leaf(Aroma & Taste Enchancer) from Advanced Nutrient and it really works well. Bud Candy is probably almost the same. I know it's called Big Bud.. but i love my zzzzz lolz... Voodoo juice is very expensive as a root enchancer...

It depends on how hot the cooltube intake air is? My cooltube sucks the winter cold air from outside and the blown back air at the exaust of the cooltube is still pretty cool and i use it as my fresh air intake as well. But in the summer time i'll have to re setup the ducting as the outside air...
