Yeah don't run vinegar or you could grow a mother next time it sits lol. Use citric acid to descale it and then a 200ppm bleach solution to sanitize it. Run the bleach for 24-48 hours and use a filter so the shit that comes out won't get sucked back in by the pump.

One last thing, I built this little duct because our outside temps have been getting into the 80-90 range. With the duct I have a constant 6 degree rise from ambient. I have been able to keep the tent around 80-82 during peak heat. I am holding off on a filter for this reason, but man, the shit...

Man I would rinse those roots off and start running something to keep your water clean. EWC tea has been working for me so far this year.

Well, I think you shouldnt worry about messing with them as far as training. If you break a stem then just tape it up with some tape and it will be fine. A net will pay you back for sure.

It's 7ft. If you are starting to worry you probably are right. I let mine veg too long last time. Because of this, had to bolt the lights directly to the top cross-poles using 1/2 EMT clamps. I needed every inch. Never again lol. Make sure you top your plants and then put a cheap trellis net...

Another way to do it is just keep track of how much water you are adding. When you have added an equal amount to what your bucket holds, drain and mix a new batch. When you add back, just shoot for your target ppm unless you see burn then just add ro. I would always add SOME calmag, if nothing...

What I was reading was that plants respond to darkness more so than light for the growing cycles. In other words, make sure you dont have more than 12 hours of dark before you put the lights back on.
