It's hard doing it right when you are renting. My closet pulls fresh air from underneath my house and exhausts down there as well for my light. My fresh air comes from inside the house and I vent through a wall into another room. I have a 6" induction vent next to my door with a 270cfm fan on...

You're gonna have to cut a 6" hole at lease I would assume. But you'll need a bigger intake other then just under the door. Exhausting the heat out will definitely help, as long as you have fresher, cooler air to replace it

Mine run 77-79 during the day and 72-74 at night. Pin point accuracy. Took me awhile to get it down though, and you will too. Everyone here has given enough advice to find your solution

84 IS too high for April. Only going to get hotter. If you bring it down now, and increase your humidity with a humidifier you'll be ready for possible hotter temps in the summer. Maybe buy a cooltube in the summer. Or both now

Yes a cool tube will help, but humidity will help drastically too. 20-30 is too low. Buy a humidifier and bring it up to at least 60,youll notice it drop below 80. Probably cheaper then a cooltube as well and it's getting two birds stoned at once!
