Cracked a stem, branches dying even after cutback below damage....what to do?

I agree on cutting it down and leaving about a 1/2 inch nub. I have had stems break and plants split in half etc..but mj is super resilient and almost always bounces back with vigor. I doubt that you have anything worth seriously stressing over. Good luck!

I'm thinking heat stress. Are they all the same strain?

I use Avid because it works. I grow organic because it works. Synthetic pesticides are somewhat of a "hush hush" taboo these days, and for that reason, it's not talked about. Abamectin (Avid) is used in the vast majority of all commercially grown crops. Oranges, lettuce, tomatoes, cannabis. Like...

Look into mulching as well. It's going to save you a lot of watering. Rice straw is cheap as f*ck and works great.

Don't just water every 2 days like clockwork. Water when the top layer of soil is drying out. Over watering is WAY more likely to kill your plant than underwatering. Also, if you underwater and your plant droops a little bit, it's not the end of the world..give it water and it bounces back...

If you're watering twice a day, you're over watering. If you make sure that pot is thoroughly soaked, it shouldn't need water again for at least a day or 2. I know it's hot, but the only time a plant would need water every day was if it was a big plant in a small pot that was just sucking up...

MJ thrives in a slightly acidic soil medium. 6-6.5. You will have nutrient lockouts at the 7-7.5 range bro.

    Need Help

I would put it in a bigger pot, and let it veg out and flower naturally! If you force it into flower now, your yields are going to be disappointing. Give it good light and proper nutrients and let it do its thing. It looks to me like a plant that's been deprived of sunlight from the get go. It's...

    Transplant in 2 weeks flower

It will slow the plants bud production down a bit as it shifts it's Energy into adjusting to the new pot, but if you transplant carefully, and make sure you give her some Vitamin B-1 after you repot (before and after is cool too!), it shouldn't be tragic. Good luck!

Definitely not a flower/reveg thing then.

I see better results with organic ferts, and love having a living soil medium for the babes to thrive in. Nothing is ever labeled organic/inorganic. I agree that that would be fucked up.

    Newbie grower.. need help

If you can gently remove the plant from the pot and take a look at the roots, that would be helpful in figuring out what's going on. I've had plants go rootbound on me on several occasions, and the symptoms look exactly like that. They droop and look unhappy at first, and then the bottom leaves...

Yeah, just ease them into it. Read some info on "hardening off". Most of the time you need to let your girls adjust a little bit at a time to full sun, especially when it's on full blast like that.

2 weeks old is a little young for a plant to even be able to flower, but I suppose it's possible. Unlikely though. Did you switch their light cycle at all since they popped? If not, then you can rule out the flower/reveg possibility.

Wow, yeah that's hot. Any way to shade them during the peak hours of the day? Probably your best bet.

It's probably a temperature thing. Are they out baking in the sun? Did you just recently put them under brighter light/hotter temps? That'd be my best bet. Not ,100% sure though

    Help ASAP??

Lo well sheeit! The first pic is the only one I saw initially, and it looks like the whole plant is doing the same thing. After browsing through all of them, you're right stoney! It looks like it's only on the top.

Every Maybe my initial post should've come with a disclaimer lol. Don't use Avid unless you have to bro!! It's a big no-no in the organic farming world. (Secretly we all use it though) Just don't expect to win any awards for your buds because trace levels are always detectable post harvest.
