unless you are planning to flower them from seed, you will want to give them at least 18 hrs of light. you don't need a diff light, hps will work. but as stated above it will veg better will a blue spectrum of light. It is not required though.

feminized seeds are 99% to have female genetics. if one of those seeds ends up being a male, you will have to kill it. thus leaving the dead roots in the pot. they will also become roots tangled and intertwined. So removing it later is not a very good option

unless you know those feminized seeds, you are going to want to separate them in about a week. one plant per container

You need to give us more info, it took me a minute to figure out that the pic wasn't a crater on the moon. I have since figured out it is rockwool. that is not mold, it is algae. cover the rockwool so no light is hitting it and it will die and go away.
