Yea I keep a bucket of piss, to spread around to keep the deer away......LOL, nah it's a heavy dose of Cha-Ching that's the girl's current feed and she seems to like it. Last thought on root growth. Growth above the medium and below the medium surface, are directly connected. If you see growth...

There is still root growth throughout the plants life, it does slow down late in flower, it may even stop at one point. Like I mentioned before the later in flower my buckets go the slower the water perk rate is, and I can see a thicker root mat while I'm watering as time goes on. And I...

I have to say I’m on the let em’ dry out side of the fence I believe this stimulates root growth. You can’t let them go completely dry or else they will wilt, which I seem to do at least once in every grow. From what I’ve seen drying is most important during transplant to...

    First time indoor

That light is for a closet or other small space. 400w will cover about 1mx1m and you will need to maintain a relative flat canopy level. If you want to grow taller bushier plants like outdoors, you will need at least 600w or better yet 1000w 600w will cover about 1.5x1.5 1000w will cover about...

Grow box - pots or bins?

If you are planning on growing smaller short plants, with a short veg period, then those totes are overkill. You could easily get away with a 3gal pot/bucket/tote.

Coco Hempy - Bucket Cleanup or Not?

Jella, I always use Clorox to wash the buckets. For perlite, I just rinse it out on a screen with the garden hose. I've heard that coco is recyclable, but not sure of the process. I've never used any microbial additives before, but I personally would try and clean it out and start out new again...

I'm not sure where you live, but it the states, if your box is to code it's real easy to swap and connect breakers while live. Do you have one large breaker/switch at the top of your panel? Got a pic of panel?

You'll see even better results if you take the plant out of the pot and plant it directly into the perlite. I'd also recommend when filling up around the sunshine core when building your hempy, to fill the top 3" with sunshine instead of perlite so the whole top is sunshine. Benefits - No algae...

DG - I would never supercrop vegging plants heading into a scrog, you want to encourage growth. SC reduces the growth through a stem. Read THIS SC is used to turn a vert stem to a horz stem. Once horz you get more side branch growth which makes more bud heads at one elevation. With your scrog...

I've always wanted to do a vert scrog, but just don't have the room. Your set-up looks really nice, and I don't see why it shouldn't kick ass. Hopefully you can be patient and veg long enough to get your weaving started. I'm guessing it'll be 3wks before you have enough screen filled in the vert...

Great looking plant. So jela what nutes you using? And when you build your buckets do you use perlite to the top of the hole and then coir to the top of the bucket? And finally what brand of coir do you use, and what prep is done prior to use?

Nugs thank you for detailing this grow especially using a clone. With my limited space working with a clone has many advantages for me. I do understand that the higher branch will be the dominate and that the greater the nodal stretch the greater the difference. Now I have to ask, instead of...

Want to Flower but this is stopping me!

That's a healthy looking plant, a couple of little spots are normal. FFOF is good for about 4 wks or so, and then you'll have to start feeding.

    weed plant tall and skinny!

If you are talking about the potting soil, it will work but isn't the best choice. That potting soil already has nutes in it, so don't feed any other ferts if you use this. Again it's not the best npk ratio but it will grow bud.
