    Need advise. Thanks:)

As a seedling temp is much more important. Don't know your climate but you don't want more than 10 degree (F) change day to night. As far as your question... outdoor air is better than stagnate recirculated indoor air.

    Chopping off Fan leaves

Try tucking fan leafs 1st. Don't cut if at all possible, these leaves are the engine of your plant, without them your flower production will be hampered. I did some heavy pruning on my 1st scrog and it slowed the grow down by at least 1 wk, and I know it hurt my final yield.

Transplant or just start seeds in 5 gal pots?

The perfect way to grow would be in the final pot with no transplant. But now you have to remember that in your watering & feeding process that you will have to keep 5 gal of soil at the same moisture level as a cup. At the start using just straight water there is no impact. But once you start...

4th Grow..Nirvana BlackJack Super Scrog!!! Rep to all!!

First off let me say that is a real beauty. deserves a rep Well I'd say you will have at least 30 real good bud sites + a bunch of lessors. So with your light I think that Jack is capable of 90g. Now the disclaimer: From where she sits now and let to bud out, I'd say the head top will end up...

so here is a grow i know.......come check it out

It sounds like you want to have a separate veg and flower area to be able to harvest every 8 to 10 wks. This would be difficult in a small closet. (light seal between the areas for the different light times) If you are looking to stagger 2 separate flower areas then you would be looking at 2...

    Grow Room Set Up

Set 1 or 2 small fans a couple of inches off the floor blowing up through the plant towards the light hood. This way you can draw air from under the door. (if you're handy cut the door bottom to get a 1/2" gap, then if you can vent the heat out the top. I've cleanly removed the door stop at the...

Hey since you can make any size grow area. Consider the growing method you want to use, and even might want to use in the future. You may want to include a veg box in the space, or just want 2 different flower areas. Take some time to consider what you'll need. Also if you are fairly handy...

    Grow tent heating/insulation

I'd agree the electric oil heater is the best, but it will take of 2 sq ft of floor space and I wouldn't want my plants growing into the heater, which would mean giving it even more floor space. Unless the tent is big enough to have a light on each side and an isle down the center for working...

    Grow tent heating/insulation

Grow tents have basically no insulation value, and you will be bringing in garage temp air constantly, unless you go with a CO2 system, then you will have no intake or exhaust in the tent. And this might be the way to go for you. Any insulation will help you minimize the heat you have to put...

    Crowded grow room & stretching

Stretching is a function of the strain and the lighting. Some strains stretch and there is nothing you can do, short of topping or tying it down. And having insufficient light or the light too far up will also lead to stretching. If you are running out of head room all you can do is top or...

4th Grow..Nirvana BlackJack Super Scrog!!! Rep to all!!

If it were me I'd put that screen in, even if it's not a true scrog. You'll have something to tie the beast down to, and you could ensure the max height and keep it out of your light. Plus an even canopy is very advantageous I'll keep watchin', I really like the limited space grow. Keep up the...

Hi KG, Been lurking and watching and I don't want to be the wet blanket on this party. But when I look at your photos of prior to chop, I say to myself that this plants needs another 2 wks. miracle grow

MG is known to have many salts in it and that's why its so fast acting in your garden. But it will build up in your soil over time. So If you are using MG I'd flush mid way through flower, this would be more important than a flush at the end. But I'd recommend using the Osmocote, (min salts) and...

    miracle grow

IMO flushing is not a helpful process. If you have a couple of hrs read this post. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/409622-truth-about-flushing.html MG is pretty hot and as you are doing should be used at a reduced rate. If you are looking for a good cheap fert, try...

Irish Boy's 2011 Spectra Led Grow (Revenge Of Casey Jcnes))

My 2 cents on your light layout. "If I Were King" I'd use 4 of the 180's and put them on a rotary light mover. (360 clockwise stop then 360 counter clockwise) You'd hit every possible light angle over a 4' square space.
