got me a reveg cloning question

I like to cut off right below the 3rd node, then cut off the bottom set of branches to create a couple more rooting points. So if you want 6 clones it will take awhile to grow the sites. If you want 12 most likely 3 months with at least one topping thrown in.

Lambs Bread- 73 days in and I'm looking for help + opinions!

You did bring out a clue. Your tent is running 20 to 30% higher humidity than your outside air. Now during flowering it is best to keep your humidity down, 35 - 40% is really great but anything under 50% is okay. So I'm thinking that you need more ventilation through your tent. Your plants degas...

Lambs Bread- 73 days in and I'm looking for help + opinions!

1st tell us what is the humidity is like where you live > 50% most of the time, > 70% ?? or arid < 35% most of the time. It easier to dry and cure in an arid region. I would never use a humidifier, the object is to remove moisture. There are 2 things I've noticed that will cause the grassy...

the proper way to run ducting(cooled reflector hoods)

I've never used that hood, but it looks like it should seal well. And if everything is sealed it is best to just to just suck air from outside the rm thru the hood and out of the room. Should have no sent issues.

    Inline Fans

You can get a speedster thats made for inline fans and its fairly inexpensive. http://www.amazon.com/Sun-System-Sun...4683582&sr=1-7 Then if looking at a vortex you should check out the Can fans, I think its a better fan, my 6" has been running 24/7 for almost 2yrs straight now, with 1/2 the yr...

    Carbon Filter

Yes a fan can be too small. The filter causes drag on the air flow, which will place a larger load on the motor and bearings, hence more wear and more noise.

    Carbon Filter

I agree with footclan. By going bigger you will make less noise (fan bigger than space needs & filter bigger than fan) I wouldn't go with anything less than a 4" inline fan, And if you're really concerned about fan noise then get a hi quality fan like a Vortex or Can, this will make a big difference

    ballast or bulb ?

It's real simple, you have a bad ballast!!! I had the same problem with a sun systems magnetic ballast, tried to find fault with everything else, did the warranty thing, new ballast, life's good. A MH should not light on a hps ballast, and if the hps side won't fire a bulb then its a bad ballast.

My opinion of watering with room temp water.

Keep the root ball cool. Cooler roots will allow warmer heads. Why do hydro growers want their rez to be in the low 60's? Feed water temps in the mid 50's, in soil, under HID is not a problem. I believe its even better.

New Technique - Experiment - Advice please .....

The only drawback I see to this system is having your tray full of nute water exposed to the light, heating up, and picking up all the dead leaves, and other fall out. I've been using a passive hydro system for some time now just didn't know it was called passive hydro. I've called it...

    HGTsupply DIY Ballast Kits

That DIY kit is just a rebuild kit for a hps ballast. you can do this but you are going to have to find a way to mount everything solid, and needs to be mounted to a non flammable material ie metal. all wire nut connections must be taped and fixed so they can't touch the ballast. I guess what...

    grow tent with two sections?

Build or modify a small box for your veg. It would create lots of problems to try and divide a small tent like that. Light leaks, & ventilation would be tough, and you'd most likely end up with temp issues in the upper compartment

    Heating for growroom
